  1. Mmm In Hollywood you can fish west in Weston Pembroke Pines or north in broward ... Honestly the 84 canal has many 10lb fish and it runs probably twenty miles ... Take 95 to 595 west and get off on Davie road or university drive and fish it as long as you want ... Plastics and your usual will get the job done .. Bigger baits are what h wanna use there .. In there you can catch a snook a tarpon a largemouth and a peacock and a snakehead in consecutive casts ... It's full of fish .. Pm me for more secret areas and people to talk to orale cheap purchases ....
  2. Glad you're happy .. I feel the same way about my exsense ci4
  3. I've alwayse used braid with leaders in saltwater for the obvious reasons ... But as far as bass fishing im curious as to how many are using leaders and why or how many are not and why ... I use leaders currently on my spinners with braid and my swimbait applications ... WHAT SAY YOU ?
  4. In south east va it's been extremely cold with temps in teens and twenties with some 30s and rare 40s mixed in and being as this is my first full season up here im not sure what's going to happen ... Haven't caught a fish since mid January but haven't been able to fish but have heard fish are being caught none the less

  11. X2 ... Lol lets see your hard bait lot
  12. I swim a jig a lot ... But when I'm pitching targets I take more time with hops and drags .. When I am running banks between major areas I will pitch and just do a hop or three and reel up and repeat ... In the winter however is when jigging takes its most technique ... At this time I do my most envisioning of what the jig looks like on bottom and how Id like it to move .. I do this until I get a bite... When jigs ARENT being swam .. I find most strikes come within the first 15 sec of the bait hitting the waters surface ... The key is learning the tools you're using with the jig ... And interpreting the jig well in the water while being focused
  13. I love listening to to
  14. I'm going to try it on one rod and go from there ... The only rods I use that sz of braid are frogs but if it's good strength and truly a 30lb diameter ill use it on swim jigs as well and when I go to Florida
  15. I Usually leave it alone unless I know I'm going to be in very open water ...
  16. But I've used curado's and Stradics for saltwater for years ... No issue .. Id take like you're 7 - 9ft rds in heavy to extra heavy action I suppose ... Or U could just fish for mackerel from the pier and use like a 3000 sz spinner and a 7 ft med heave or Med and a gotcha plug and call it a day
  17. If you have any ci4 equipment now would be the time to Use its benefits ...
