  1. I've knly caught on the bbZ floaters but I've never thrown smaller than 6in... What I noticed was though that I caught more fish on it throwing it on 20lb big game mono than anything else ...
  2. I like the rage blade
  3. Nice can't wait til frog weather here
  4. Bling 55 .. Spro little john .. 6th sense 70
  5. I have every kind of duckett rod from ghost to macro to micro magic to white ice ... I really like the rod for the price point .. I have broken two ... One I broke it all on my own in the house... And the other was a new medium spinning that broke .. In any case I had both rods back within the week... They are very sensitive and appear light in rating... UNTIL a fish in on the line ... Then they shine ... I think the popularity of them online is a gift and a curse for them ... But Id tell anyone to get one .. And I wasn't discouraged by one rod break ... Great customer service ensured that. If he's breaking them while fighting fish I have to ask the variables
  6. I use xr50/70s and rat-l-traps and red eye shads
  7. Whats it cost ... And I just wanna little ole metanium
  8. lol the post I see against throwing big baits in little ponds are why I get bit so much throwing big baits in small ponds.... Not many are doing it ... But they get bit even by small fish ... There's so much stigma with big baits ... I hardly ever go out and fish solely swimbaits and do not get bit... And that's always in a small pond during the week after work ... From 9in ms slammers in chesapeake va to hudd 68s to got em coach real gillz ... But swimbaiting takes time to learn the approach .. And the ideal retrieve for each bait... It's a more focused fishing for me .. Similar to when pitching for hours in Florida mats ... Many times with a swimbait you can tell exactly where you'll get but or you'll get but shortly after passing that point . In any case don't be scared to throw big baits but from land. Id only throw floating lures and hudds ... Until you really know what you're doing chucking 2+ounces .
  9. Id never use it for a swimbait .... Not that color
  10. I can't wait to be able to get one
  11. Do you own a black dog g2 shellcracker by any chance ? Hack attack jigs ? Rage products need replenishing ? Some jerkbaits ? Can't go wrong with buying fluoro either
  12. That day was the first time Ive ever fished a tournament where no one caught a fish. But the following two I've placed 5 th of 25+ and 50+ boats .... Had 14lb bag on Saturday
  13. Suffolk Virginia has the best bass lakes in va in my opinion ...: but I'm a tamiami trail okeechobee Kissimmee chain raised boy ....: what do I know
  14. My Is and scorpions which are basically the same thing all cast better than my Es or Ds, but I love the old school feel of Ds and Es too much to ever let them go and they do everything I ask for ... I think your results would've been different if you bought your Curado new ...
  15. Same ... And same for cranks too ... Light jerkbaits I use 8lb braid
  16. Yea ... He caught a 4lb catfish on 4lb line and a micro spinnerbait in ga last year and is starting to say things like I need more spinnerbaits to cover different water lol
  17. So my oldest son has gotten the fishing bug pretty bad at about 10.... He's been literally waiting on the daily on when dad "says" the pre spawn is here ... Bought his own swimjig with his own money he earned shoveling snow and everything .... He was furious when mom caught her 4lber last week on his rod and his red eye shad he also purchased lol .... So to enable him I often surprise him at aftercare and just say we're going fishing for an hour then homework and whatever else we have to do .... So we get to the lake .. My youngest heads straight for the playground and we're off fishing .. Trying to get my own first fish on my Scorpion .. And after one cast and one Mark Davis youtube lesson on the rage blade later ... After which my son says Can I take a selfie with your fish lol .... Sure son Got a backlash after the fish and said lets go get some snacks lol
  18. 7-10 extra heavy .... 7-3 medium heavy ... 7ft spinning rod Med heavy
  19. That's a nice speed ... His speed accompanied by size and a good attitude and work ethic can get him very far
  20. Does look pretty interesting ...
  21. Can get a 5.1 curado 200i for 142 on eBay ... I use 200 size reels for a rigs and lighter swimbaits ... And even spoiled with 20lb flouro I still have plenty of line to cast ... For heavier SWIMBAITS I am using a 300e .. that's overkill for a rigs and carolina imo ... But I love the 200i
