I'm looking to build a aggressive jig set up , weight is an issue and I want to be able to fish it all day .... The two last choice are metanium xg and the bfs xg ... But I was concerned as I'm almost exclusively going to pitch and punch jigs and plastics from 1/8jigs or Texas rigs to 1 1/2oz punching . Would the bfs be capable ? I really love the real but honestly never intend to use it for its truest purpose .. Any opinions ?

I may have already figured things out by the time I was a man. With the help of My dad and just enveloping myself with information in the sport I loved. I was raised to pay attention.. I think playing sports has had such an effect on everything I do either focus or technique based . As a result I learned very young in fishing simple worked ... From watching my grandmother catch crappies and bluegill with a bobber and worm while I caught nothing throwing lures I'd be trying ... But in figuring things out , when you get lucky and get it right it give you such a sense of confidence it allows you to reach further for the next thing. I learned bass liked bluegill very young in Florida . I think people become or remain that guy in search of confidence but don't realize it not what you do many times .. But how you go about doing it that makes or breaks a lot of endeavors

People say Lebron James is falling off too.... Aaron had a period like this ... I believe ...you don't know what finishing in the middle of the points race means until you've fished a few clubs or regional things .. And he's fishing national things. People are probably happy he's allowing them a little money. Look how many pros say KVD took a million dollars from me ... Including the great mr Aaron

Had one choke it this morning too ..: then picked my wife up and she caught her first two for the year on bling 55 which is another solid crank for me this time of year .... But a little secret of mine is I never stop fishing either and catch fish on them even when it's 80 . Don't think flat sided baits are only for winter

Today but I also caught fish on xr50 one knocker and xcalibur xcs200s

I didn't catch a fish all day so I had to throw the jig because if my confidence bait. Had a huuuuge fish miss swimming it just under the surface . Then caught a little chunk ... I then got my confidence back and started throwing a 75x my wife tells on the lake that her dinner is almost done .. And to bring the boat in at least 20 min.... And then I caught the biggest fish I've ever caught in va ...

I'm going to try today and tomorrow . I'm going to be throwing nothing but hard baits . And probably not a jerkbait . But I'm waiting for it to heat up

I've been catching all my fish on hardbaits since Jan 1. I won't throw a jig unless I'm fishing for money these days . But 3xd's Rogues flat sided crankbaits shad raps lipless ive been living in va now two years and I've noticed fish like a much smaller more finesse presentation at almost every scenerio here than Florida where I'm from. example I get more big fish on tiny crank baits here than Fl. I water temps are still in 40s but should hear up this week.

I use the bait a lot in pre spawn and can say nothing about it .. Extremely weedless and it hooks fish almost always in top of mouth

Japan lure shop and other places have small amounts left . Im looking to get one in the next few weeks before the time is lost

i have two ci4s and I love them .. Both speeds are my work horses .. My money makers (jig rod/crankbait rod) both have them ... But with that said .. My next purchase will be either a '13 metanium xg or core 50mg7 ... Both of those I've fished with and I can just see the difference like when I ride in a car with 700whp vs 1000whp.. Both good but one better ... For precision things it matters ...fish getting you in bad places it Helps ... For just bombing baits I use curado I , Ds, and scorpions .

Get a "flashed" fire stick for 80 and have every channel every sport you've every thought of known to man. I kid you not .. Google it .. I could but a curado a month with what I save and trust me my tackle box notices ..

They're most effective now to the spawn. Then the shell cracker will likely be more effective the summer . I may throw a few hudds today if I get off my finesse cranking binge

I before I got a chronarch ci4 I used my curado Ihg for flipping exclusively and loved it .. I now use it to flip when using light line which I do much less but I caught plenty on it and it won me way more than it cost to it it more than once

They don't want people fishing from the land . I'd still do it and still do it .

Not sure if this will help but I caught my first of the year on a Rayburn red xr50 and that's what I thought I'd catch em on.

Craw style flying lure
