Poor customer service!
Are you mad that the combo wasn’t in stock or that your wife caught you buying tackle with her card? ?

Do bass feed with catfish?
3/4” Nichols flutter spoon caught a catfish yesterday in a school of shad. I caught 30 bass and 1 cat so I’d say your odds are good. If there’s a school of shad around everyone comes over for dinner.

A good fluorocarbon to start out
I find 14 -16lb sunline good for most of my bass fishing in moderate cover. I think it handles about the same as mono when compared lb rating to lb rating. Equal lb rated mono is typically a thicker diameter than quality fluorocarbon of the same rating and probably stronger though and there are differences between brands. I enjoy the greater sense of feeling or feedback when using flouro, especially for bottom contact use.

Does BFS makes a finesse spinning setup obsolete?
As someone that would rather use a Zebco 33 than a spinning reel, I’d vote yes for bfs.

When to use a bait casting set up versus spinning for a technique
I don’t even have a spinning rod in my boat. It’s a matter of comfort and familiarity for me. Use whatever feels good to you.

TW. Order vs Shipping dates
I placed 9 orders with tackle warehouse during the height of the pandemic. Only had 1 order with a slight delay. I’m on the east coast and my orders arrive as quickly as any other retailer.

New sheriff in town - stickbait content
Have you texas rigged them? I’m curious how well that would work with the skinny area right about where the hook will be.

I have rods costing quite a bit more and couldn’t even tell you what color the wraps are. ?

Falcon rods any good?
This is right on the money. Very versatile rods. Just enough tip and backbone for almost any technique. I haven’t tried the new bucoo but the old models have some of the best action and balance of any rod I’ve used. The new low riders are just as great but with noticeable better sensitivity. The Cara line takes it up to another level. All of Falcon’s rod lines really seem to have a great cost to performance ratio.

Dobyns Fury versus Falcon Lowrider
If you get them free shipping that’s a $30 savings. Go for it!

Dobyns Fury versus Falcon Lowrider
My opinion is based on first hand experience against rods costing much less. Everyone feels something different with a rod in their hands.

Going to try a Falcon
I like my old model bucoo micros but I think the new low rider is a superior rod for the money. I’ve had some $200 rods from other manufacturers that were not not nearly as nice.

GLX 894C vs GLX 895C FPR for 1 oz Flipping?
The 844 seems suited for 3/8 to 1/2 oz but I have thrown 3/4oz on it. If the 89X rods follows the ratings of the 84X I would definitely go 895 based on my experience.

Going to try a Falcon
The falcon low rider 7’ mh fast is a really great rod. Very versatile, light and sensitive.

What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
Whichever rod allows you to cast the lure effectively is the rod you need. Keeping fish “pinned” or “pulling the lure out of the fishes mouth” are highly overrated. Just use a rod that feels good casting and puts the lure where you are aiming.
