  1. 1/4 to 3/4 rod weight rating.
  2. For a Zoom super fluke and a 3/0 round bend hook a medium or medium heavy casting rod in 7’-7’2” with 1/4-3/4oz weight rating works well for me.
  3. What was it that you didn’t like about the elite reels?
  4. You are probably twisting or overlapping the line. I can’t tie a palomar knot to save my life so I stopped trying.
  5. It isn’t my style either but if I were fishing for money I would not hesitate to do it.
  6. Sometimes the thumb bar doesn’t fully engage when turning slow or without resistance on the spool. Once it fully clicks into position it will be smooth.
  7. 7’ Falcon mh mod fast. Let you budget choose what series. I like the Bucoo and Low Rider series best for walking baits. Edit: if you are talking about the 3/4 or 7/8 oz option for those baits I would use the Hammer 6’9” H rod. It doesn’t an amazing job with heavier walking baits.
  8. I have never had an issue with tackle warehouse. When I need something quickly I pay for 2 day air and I get it on time. If I’m in no rush I order ground and don’t even pay attention to how long it takes. They are my go to online tackle shop.
  9. Falcon Expert 7’ mh all around. Good rod for 3/16-3/8 texas rig .
  10. I recently ordered a couple of spools from sds custom on ebay. They arrived from Ukraine in just 10 days . it is very hard to decipher what they fit and the type of spool. One of mine is a hyper long cast sv. Can an sv spool be a long cast too? Time will tell. I haven’t tried that one out yet.
  11. Is the spool in question a Daiwa replacement or aftermarket ? Where can you get one?
  12. Do any of you tube gurus rig them weedless with a round bend hook? I prefer round bend hooks and have struggled to effectively rig them weedless.
  13. What are the wires and the white thing for?
  14. Elite series 7’ baitcaster Heavy their website is a little confusing.
  15. Lol. Don’t get me started on all the posts about a reel being a “7 speed”. Is it a manual or automatic? ? my best frog rod ever was a Hammer 7’ heavy with the same specs as the Cashion. I would definitely give the Cashion a shot or check out the Hammer for another option.
  16. I prefer graphite. I tried a few glass rods and I just didn’t connect with the feel. I also felt like I could cast more accurate and farther with graphite over glass.
  17. Bass Pro has one of the worst websites around for tackle shopping. Luckily there are way better options available.
  18. They just were not comfortable in my hand. The location of the trigger placed my hand in the wrong spot and the smaller size of the trigger let it dig into my finger. i use Daiwa tatula reels and I like that they are somewhat larger size than other brands. Other reels may have been a better fit for that rod but I didn’t try anything else. I’m not knocking megabass at all, some people may find them very comfortable. the action on the jerkbait rod was perfect so I spent them money to make it work for me.
  19. I would advise the op to try before you buy. The levante jerk bait rod action is perfect. I just had the reel seats replaced on 2 brand new levante rods. It was either sell or fix them. The megabass reels seats are terrible.
  20. Our junebugs are green
  21. As someone that doesn’t use flouro you may be disappointed in this line considering it is a low cost offering. I hope you like it and report to us with good feedback.
