Yes, It is part of the game. How many and how big. Add in where and on what and you have a way to measure what works and what doesn't. I am not a competitive person so I am not trying to beat anybody, I just like to have a measurement of how I'm doing.

Live bait only. My local place is over priced. ( I know why) but when I drop 50 bucks and get twice as much on sale at Dicks or Bass Pro I can't justify it. As far as local knowledge, they told me my pond was bad fishing..because they are trout fishermen.

And I have some *** frogs with out legs that still catch fish!

I practice while standing on the picnic table and flipping to different spots in the yard.

We have a very popular lake here that the big time bass fisherman love! They are the worst ones on the water. While I slowly work my way along the shore I will be cut off at full speed to get to a laydown. They come in on plane, cast five times and leave with the throttle down. In my opinion Fisherman are the worst boaters!

I enjoyed the Select shows. I noticed they didn't have all the commentary from all the talking heads. Just starting the Summit cup and they are back. Marty Stone says nothing important and Sheli Sanders just repeats the scores like we haven't been watching. There I said...I feel Better.

I have the same Lowrance. Leave it mounted next to the console, and mount the new at the bow. I am leaning toward a Hummingbird. You can do the wiring yourself. It's not too hard.

I think about 20-30 yards. I also think it's one of the things fisherman exaggerate most, along with how much the fish weighs.

In my county in Maine, if the water is open fish, if it's ice - drill a hole and fish. Oct -Jan no Live bait and put the trout and Salmon back.

I can practice all day but when it comes time to make it count I ALWAYS screw up my Flipping and Pitching.!

My water comes from our pond. Filtered and passes thought a U/V light. Great water!
