install for recess trolling motor tray - help please
I don't see where the size of the recessed tray would be large enough to hurt anything. It surely didn't on my boat. The hardest part though was getting up underneath the deck of the bow to get the drain tube inserted so rainwater would drain down into the bilge...

install for recess trolling motor tray - help please
I installed a tray in my Triton Aluminum front deck. I just traced out the pattern that came with the tray and cut it with a metal bladed jigsaw. I did have to cut through a support beam but the deck and hull is all-welded. Been a great addition and there was no negative affects at all. It sure makes running the trolling motor while standing all a day a heck of a lot easier on your legs and back.

Do you mean replace the bulbs on the trailer lights or like LED colored accent lighting?

MJ Rig
Has anyone ever tried the mj rig on the back of a Ned Rig before? What about on the back of a trailer on a chatterbait? I've heard of people using them on the end of a weightless senko but for some reason adding one to the back of the Ned Rig seems interesting to me.

bassmaster classic locations
I've never been to Dayton or Chickamauga but it's definitely on my list. I'm about 6 hours away.

I think it's in Dayton, TN. Atleast, Dayton has it listed on their website.

Go big or go home
Last year during my first season of tournament fishing. My goal, each time out, was to catch a limit. I fished patterns that I knew would produce a limit. I got smoked. I was checking in limits but I was getting my total weight doubled by the winners. I finished in the top 3 in the last 3 of 4 events and I narrowly missed winning my last tournament by a hundredth of an ounce. The thing that changed over the course of the season was that as I got more comfortable, I naturally seemed to become more aggressive. Without doing it intentionally, I realized I was targeting bigger fish with a win or go home mindset. Not only did I keep creeping up the scoreboard, I almost won the final event of the season. This year, I'm going into our season opener with that mindset. I'm going to fish my single day events with a "swing for the fence" mentality. I'm going to target bigger fish from the get go, especially in early low light conditions and then later on in the day if I still don't have a limit, then I will fish for numbers. Weighing in a small limit is the same as weighing in a no limit. Both results in no check. I think I've learned that playing it safe doesn't win bass tournaments.

Map of my Spawning Flats
For what it's worth, I do have a king size in the master bedroom and have spawned there before..... A couple of times lol

Map of my Spawning Flats
Your right. I shouldn't have said bowl. I just meant there aren't really a lot of clear defined ditches. The banks drop off all around down into the bottom. This is the true north 12:00 position on the lake. Also, the dominate wind comes from the West on average.

Map of my Spawning Flats
Can you guys give some input on maybe how you'd approach fishing this. One of my local lakes has no true migration routes that lead into spawning areas. The whole lake is sort of like a bowl. This is the north end of the lake. Can any of you more experienced guys maybe fill me in on where to find some prespawn bass or staging areas?

Garmin Echomaps plus 93sv
I started a thread before I saw this but I'll ask here too. I have the old 73sv chirp on my dash. I want to buy the new 93sv plus chirp and mount it at my dash and move the 73sv chirp to my bow to mount at my trolling motor. Do you know if it's possible to be able to data share waypoints from each unit?

Garmin 93sv Plus Chirp
Does anyone know if you can data share the new Garmin 93sv Plus Chirp with the old Garmin 73sv Chirp? I currently have the old Garmin 73SV at my dash and I would like to install the new Garmin 93SV Plus Chirp at my dash and move the older 93sv chirp to the bow and mount at the trolling motor. Does anyone know if you can data share these two units to share waypoints? Also, could I take my Lakevu chip out of my 73sv and put it in the new 93sv plus to run the map at the dash and data share it to the bow on the 73sv?
