  1. Hey, those things look GREAT!! Nice job. I think that the powder paint will work on nearly any metal that you can heat to a surface temp. of 300-350 degrees. Then a quick "swoosh" in the powder and away you go. I think painting your weights can only add to the whole presentation. Well done.
  2. Wow what great stuff!! RoLo, and Chris, I believe you have it "nailed". I think we need to TRY to think more like a Bass. What would you do if you were in there place? Considering that my metabolism has been drastically reduced, due to the extreme cold water, I doubt that I would be all that hungry most of the time. Now, if I were hungry... and I had spotted something to eat in my close proximity... I doubt that I would hesitate to eat any thing that was smaller that myself. That goes for any "easy garbage" that I might find on the floor.
  3. Maybe it's just more fun to "lay into ya" when your sleepin'.
  4. This all sounds very much like how I grew up. I was number 5 of 6 children, born in 1968. When Frampton "Alive" came out it was like x-mas at our house. Three older brothers, one older sister all sitting around a small turn table checking out the new album. Like you said LBH, a simpler time indeed. 8-)

OK! I'll guess a "Graphic Boy, Nancy Designer" Is that right???
  6. 21 and then 27. Why don't those little Bast^8ds stand still??? ;D
  7. Many of you may not know this but Bo and Woody were great friends. Although sad, it's fitting that they'll get to watch this one together. My condolences to the Schembechler Family and UM fans everywhere. My condolences to the family and UM fans as well! As an IOWA fan I can truely say that I've the utmost respect for both programs. With out a doubt you need to add Hayden Fry to the list of Bo's friends. They had their moments of turbulant times, but I'm sure it was all about competing in the BIG 10. After the game and the "whoop-la" those guys all respected each other and looked forward to another "BIG TEN Match Up". Bo and Hayden both stood for making their college football players the best PEOPLE that they could. Football was "second" (if you can believe that) to being a good student and person that contributes to society. I have a feeling that OU has the edge... but I and my house will be pulling for the BIG "M"!! GO BIG BLUE
  8. Have I got this right??? Avid was doing an Elvis impersonation... in Florida... in a canoe... with a BAIT CASTER... campaigning for Bush?? :-? MAN!! I'm sorry I missed that one.
  9. The world according to ghoti!! ;D ;D Once again... it wouldn't be funny if it wasn't true. Thanks for sharing.
  10. ;D ;D LMAO !! I get so sick of the spam mail for stock alerts it makes me CRAZY. > Finally a take on the subject that simply tells the truth. Thanks for the update!
  11. They don't all take after me...(thank God) but the nephew in subject is my younger Bro's Boy. Guess how "brain washed" he might be! My Younger Brother only followed my lead. If you read my post about my screen name you know what I'm talkin' about. We had no choice but to proclaim "GO YANKEES" GOD BLESS THE YANKEE'S FANS!! and you too Muddy!! ;D CHEERS, YankeesWin
  12. LMAO MUDDY! ;D ;D ;D I think you're right! There is a definite resemblance.
  13. Thanks for sharing once again LBH!! That's too cool! Way too many of those little "by the way side" places have gone. It's nice to see 'Ol Ted still "keepin' it on". God bless him!
  14. I finally got around to changing my avatar! So don't freak out when you start to think there's another new kid on the block. I hope you guys like it. It's a pic. of my youngest nephew (I've 4 total, and 8 nieces). I just thought it was cute as pie and kinda sums up my whole "outlook on life" ;D CHEERS, YankeesWin
  15. What a treat!! That's awesome for you. 8-) I had the chance to speak with him for a short time this summer at the ICAST show in Vegas. He is a true gentleman and a blast to talk with. The man has a way of putting a smile on your face for sure.
  16. So long for now Muddy. Take care and God bless, we'll talk to ya again soon.
  17. That's just plain awesome!! ;D ;D lmfao!! Ain't it cool how contagious laughter can be?
  18. Hey>>> as long as we're trading for "peanuts" We'll give ya "Dill- Rod" for 2 ushers and a peanut FARM to be named later.
  19. Having it down South for the winter is all for the best. When it comes to next spring's spawn maybe it can just work it's way north!! I know Hawg_Hunter and I both would love to have a chance at pouring a bit of the ol' "Midwest Mojo" into that little charm. send it to Iowa Best of "mojo" to whom ever has it now!!
  20. I'm with ya on this one alll the wayyy Valascus!! A great all around team whose time has come.
  21. The sooner the better Muddy. I don't see any thing wrong with talking about off season trades etc. I don't always have the time to keep up with it and sometimes I get busy at work etc. > but I always like to catch up with you guys and especially baseball when I get the chance. "You guys... you're just a bunch of.... GOOD GUYS!"

See Muddy... I told ya some of the greatest people I know are Yankees fans. ;D ;D The Mets shirt vs the Yankees shirt: Think of it like oil and water. The Yankees shirt is OIL!! By all logical means it should float to the TOP!!
  23. AMEN my friend!!! I am not that far "south" from you here in Iowa, and I can most certainly tell when I have a Canadian on the phone. I rather enjoy it though... I like to talk to my friends up north.
  24. That's funny!! I work in Sales/Customer Service for a company that sells here and abroad. If you people think our accents are things to behold... try to take on an international call sometime!! I do enjoy it though. To have the opportunity to speak with such a variety of people is kinda' fun. I too can almost pick out the state (or at least the geographical regeion) that a customer is calling from. Except for one guy named "Vinnie". I spoke with him for the longest time thinking he was from "Jersey" or somthing like that. NOOO!! PHOENIX ARIZONA!! Come on, no one is from there.... kinda like Vegas!! No one is from Vegas. (are they??) At any rate I think it's cool that we can all be a bit different in our own way and still be a bunch of CRAZY Bass fishin' nuts. 8-) CHEERS!
  25. I will agree with you TOTALLY riskkid!!! I wish to throw a VERY, VERY special THANK YOU!! To the muddy man. I don't always have the time to look at the stats and follow as closely as I once did, but it sure has been fun "throwin crap" around w/Y"all!! The BIG St. Louis ain't out of the question for me. I sure wouldn't mind meeting up with any of you. I wish I could make it to Fork. That would be soooo! Cooool! I hope you guys KILL 'EM. Muddy, I again want to thank you for starting the whole thread. Why start a new thread??? Can't we get the MODs to keep this thing going as The "Baseball Thread"?? It's all about baseball ain't it?
