  3. HAHA. dang it GMAN, that was the first thing i thought of when reading the first post! What really grinds my gears: - i HATE the sound of other people brushing there teeth or eating cereal/soup. -I can't STAND it when i drop something, and then drop it again seconds later. (i do this more than i'de like to admit). - i hate my POS car. almost EVERY day, something never fails...to break. - I don't care to much for the Yankees, Duke, nor Oklahoma College football. - After moving to NC, Nascar literallyl drives me nuts - Pushy salesmen at stores need to stay away from me, i'm not the type to buy something that i didn't already come in for. If i can't find something, i will let YOU know. - Drivers/Boaters with no traffic etiquette. - People that always trying to "One-up" the story you just told. - Getting Skunked (duh) - De-caf beverages - Like, having to like, listen to people, who like, say "like" way too much. - The smell of fresh asphalt - When someone calls you, and then starts a conversation with someone they're with. - Racists - People who say they hate something before they ever try it. - Gas prices! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

  5. Dude, i dont mean to come off as a @$$hole, but if you have time to take pictures of him, upload them, and get on the forum, then you DEFINITLY have time to take him out in the yard/grass/dirt for 20-30 minutes a day. I'm not the one to be preaching this (cuz im bad about it to!) but if you manage your time a little better, you'll realize that there IS time for your lizard. Also, if you live in an area with a Craigslists site, get on it to look for the aquarium, theres a BUNCH where i live on there all the time Good Luck

  10. Yes.. i realize that this isn't exactly "Tacklemaking" but i thought the guys in this section might appreciate this (especially the time-consuming aspect) and it does ACTUALLY involve fishing tackle so i didnt feel comfortable puttin it in the "Everything Else" Section. My girlfriend ran across this in her Interior Design Course and thought i might enjoy it (so i thought ide share!) : This was made to resemble sea urchins by using thousands upon thousands of 2-3 inch segments of monofilament (nothing else used at all) Ok Sorry, this one is but CRAZY COOL constructed by Styrofoam cups and ONE dot of Elmer's glue for every FOUR cups used!
  11. yeah, i was thinkin the same thing, thats why i put them where i did. as far as i know, there is no other cover around the area where i put the trees, excpet for the dock i threw it off, of course, but oddly enough, the bass in this lake do not hold around docks really at all, no matter what time of year. so, figured if i added a variable of cover (the x-mas trees) next to the dock, it would give baitfish, predatory fish, etc. a place to hang out. I hope it works. I never heard of the needles being a repellant for fish, but it sounds like it could be true. Ill have to do some research and report back on that one. :-/
  12. So i found four nice/fresh Xmas trees behind the dumpster in my neighborhood about a week ago. I took one (the biggest one) and dropped the trunk in a 5gallon bucket, then set it in concrete. I threw it off the end of our boat dock (in about 8ft. water). then, i took the other four and dropped them around the standing tree, and laid a big rock on each one, so they would sind straight down, and stay down. so im wondering: will these be possible productive spawning sites in a couple months? or does it kind of need to "establish" itself in the water, and grow algae, etc. before this is possible? how long (on average) does a man-made brushpile take to hold baitfish/bass/etc?? P.S. Ironically "Brushpile" Berry should probablly already know these answers, but its my first time to actually make one myself. I usually just "borrow" ones that have been put there by a fellow fisherman :exclamation
