  1. Oh I'd love to chime in...but I wont, just listen to Ajay, do your homework, and this, The Nock is the reason why I invested in good electronics.
  2. I own several small watercraft (2 canoes, (including a sportspal),2 kayaks(SOT), and a inflatable pontoon). I just bought 14' semi-vee jon boat that'll be the focus of my attention(decking out like a bass boat), but my favorite ride, the one I grabbed for most of the small water exploring I do, was the pontoon. But, you might want to check these canoes out (they should be in Harrisburg). http://www.riverridgecustomcanoes.com/main.html If I was in the market now, I would definitely be checking out the hybrids, mainly because every once in awhile ya might want to take someone else along and the space in a canoe or hybrid is a big plus, also standing, and control of your craft while doing so, is really important.
  3. 7.5~ LM Huddleston grass minnow 4.5 SM standin'yabbie 100 (I caught my first double on an A-rig w/BBZ-1 shads combined weight est. 7 lbs.)
  4. First real post, and the reason why I am here, to ask some questions. Has anyone tried these out? I started using spoons this late fall/winter for the first time, and to my surprise, I was pretty successful. I always think about "matching the hatch", one of the reasons I got into swimbaiting, and as a swimbait fisherman, I immediately started thinking "go big, or go home". So here it is, as "big" as it gets. Any thoughts, would you use them in the same situations that you were using smaller spoons, rigging, ect.??? Thx.
  5. Weld's...1st: price, too much, last one I snagged(used)for $35, and I got off easy. 2nd: Yes, Guys from Baitsmith became SmithBait, and they produced the Heavy shad for awhile but I'm not so sure it's still in production. They are still producing the Magnum Trout,(great bait), and 6 in.shad in very limited quanities special order, "gotta know someone" kinda thing (and have lots o'money), but no 5" shad.
  6. Hello to all, & thanks...The swimbait in my avatar, and one of my favorites is the elusive(because it's no longer produced, although there are some whispers that might change) Baitsmith 5"shad. They pop up here there occasionally(and when they do, you will probably be bidding against me.) ; )
  7. Mind if I ask where you ordered them from? I love fishing "rat" topwaters. Have several, my new favorite is CL8 baby possum. Thx.
  8. Hello, I'm Frank (Dogmatic), new to the site, since my old "general bass fishing" site went belly up. Need a place to ask questions, get advice, and just learn and stay in touch with the sport, especially during these "hard water" months. Thanks, and look forward to getting to know the site better. F.
