  1. If you're talking about storing them at home you can't go wrong with filing cabinets. But as far as bringing more than a dufflebag with you on a boat, i have no idea. Get a pontoon, fill it with filing cabinets? Lol I have no idea.
  2. Bucktail jigs, inline spinners, small rapala shallow divers.
  3. What I noticed that has not been mentioned is you should have slack line during the twitches , this will help it dive, and twitch from side to side if its lipless. If you have tight line you just pull the bait towards you and maybe up. You don't want to have super slack, just enough to have half a hook set worth of movement until the line tightens is the rule of thumb I was taught.
  4. Mainly what I do is I keep all of my plastics in the bags they came in and take those and put them in writeable gallon sized ziplock bags. I organize my bags by type, flukes, craws, worms, all have their own individual bag with large sizes on one side, and small on the other. I keep them in small zipable bag all to themselves away from any hard baits. Everything has writing on it so I just pull a bag and at the top it'll say worms light color, worms dark color etc. http://www.fieldandstreamshop.com/p/spiderwire-wolf-tackle-bag/15spiuspdrwrwlf37tbx?camp=CSE:GooglePLA:15SPIUSPDRWRWLF37TBX:15568856:Bags&CAWELAID=120226720000019865&CAGPSPN=pla thats bag type I use to hold my gallon bags, different size though.

  6. I rarely follow it, I usually go by what technique I'm specifically fishing for mixed with my reel drag, and capacity. It just seems absurd to put 50lb braid on a finnesse t rig worm lol. I had a discussion about it today with a few guys at my club and wanted to know how everyone else felt about it.
  7. Seibert is definitely one of the lesser common companies that should, in at least my opinion be more well known. I've never been disappointed by a single purchase when it comes ti quality and price.
  8. I would also go with mono even though I can't stand using it personally. It's going to be the best for that light weight of applications.
  9. Thank you all for all of your support, and I did get myself a decent laywer I hope lol.
  10. How closely to do follow the advised line strength on your rods? Why do you do so and for those of you who do and use braid do you go by weight or size of the line?
  11. I'm in agreement with them, unlesd I'm punching or tearing grass I don't use anything over 7'3". If I'm punching or working an area with thick cover I'm using a big boy 7'6" or bigger though.
  12. 6'6" is my go to rod for dock skipping and high accuracy casts.
  13. I'm waiting for a good dale there and bps. Looking to hopefully pick up a pro qualifier cheapish.
  14. My friend and I were talking, he is a major believer in the more bearings the better. Obviously I agree to some extent, but don't to others. Enter here Shimano Core, hands down the best reel I've ever had. How do you guys feel abot kastking reels? Has anyone ever used them? I imagine the ball bearings and apool are made out of tree bark for the price. Input is welcome.
  15. Spinnerbaits are usually my go to lure along with texas rigged worms. I've found honestly that you truly do get what you pay for. I've been strictly with Booyah for awhile now. I've lost a lot less fish, and a lot less of the baits blades since the switch from strike king. They're also not overly expensive.
  16. Spinnerbaits. I love covering ground and hitting every bank, every point, dock, and structure. You can always almost get at least one hit.
  17. August 12th I was in a car accident, all of my poles were stolen from my car while I was taken to the hospital via ER. After monthsof physical therapy finally this year I'll be able to fish so I'm excited to share my good news with you all. It's time for me to get back on the water and buy some things for myself. Cheap stuff for now, but once my settlement is finished hopefully I can get my gear back
  18. I only use casting rods for the most part especially from the nrx line. and also do a lot of bank fishing and don't like using anything under 7ft. I prefer 7'4 and up but finding a ml rod that length is well difficult
  19. The problem is I love NRXs but nrx casting rods dont have a ml for when the bass or walleye im hunting want little bitty baits. So i have dobyns extreme championship ml rods for that. But i dont like the back bone in nrxs for large treble hook rods so i use st croix bass tournament rods for thosem its honestly all preference.
  20. For the Shimano JDM Aldebaran BFS XG Limited Japan model, and Daiwa SS AIR Japan version, does anyone know approx. how much line they'd hold of 10lb braid?
  21. I have a diawa pixy, unfortunately with those reels one decent back lash and you cant use the reel until you respool which I hate doing on the water. So that reel is sitting collecting dust. I also fish all of my lighter lures on 10lb braid
  22. 20lb braid for grass. If theres rocks etc i put a fluro leader.
  23. Thats because i quoted the wrong rod. Im buying 3 atm. I am getting a ML casting rod. Sorry for the confusion ill edit my post with the right model number when i get home
  24. Looking for new leaders and to try something new. I use lighter 8lb stufg when fishing for things like walleye etc. But for docks, and grass what str leader do you guys prefer? I'm tying to 30lb power pro for reference.
