  1. hahahah the marshmellow one was GREAT
  2. I've seen stupider posts. Like this one.
  3. Nope, I've shot many other squirrels before. This was the first one I shot, cleaned and cooked entirely without adult supervision, however. Thats the funniest thing I've heard for a considerable time. ;D ;D ;D Hahah actually thats a gas stove and i cooked it at my friends house. My friend is from a family of 11, so one squirrel doesn't go very far lol We strategically prolonged the cleaning so we could cook it while most of the others went to the library. Hey, in big families, its survival to the fittest : ;D Theres a really nervy squirrel thats in our yard every day when I get home from school, so it wont be long 'till another furry vermit is on the cast iron skillet. *licks chops* ~MG PS Spell check rocks!!! haha thanks glenn, now I dont look as "country" as I am! ;D
  4. Yeah so today me and my friend Dan where hunting squirrels and I got one. 'Bout 40ft shot right to the heart, the squirrel didn't even know what hit 'em. Took 'em back, cleaned 'em out, cooked 'em up, and boy! it was good! Best game I've ever tasted, thats for sure. Beats chicken and beef and venison by a long shot. Real easy to clean and everything!
  5. When you go fishing driving one of these.... ...its pretty cheap. I get 20 miles to a peanutbutter-jelly sandwich. 8-) ~MG
  6. woah nellie! did you get that thing weighed on a certified scale?!
  7. Yeah it was pretty cold. My hands where freezing. But after I started to catch fish, it seemed 20 degrees warmer. lol As to the weight I'm not sure. I didnt have a good scale with me. (I need to get one...)
  8. First time I did that, I realized that Barbie was taller than Joe. This gave me hope ;D Freaking funniest thing I have ever read. hahahahahaha Im still laughing
  9. Whoo hoo! It's been 6 months since I've felt a bass pick up my lure. 55 degrees, cloudy, with clear water. 6" Powerlizard T-rigged acrossed the bottom, slow as molasses. Got a nice smaller one, first fish of the season. It felt great! There isnt a darn thing I like better than the smell of fish on my hands. About half a hour later I was fishing off a log and got a pick up. At first it felt like a branch, so I didnt set the hook and lost 'em. So I waited a minute, then casted back. I got another pick up, reeled in the slack, set the hook, and FISH ON. It was a quick (but intense) fight. The branches on the log I was on made it tricky to keep the fish controled. She kept on running back and forth and each time I turned her with only a few feet to spare. I was pumped!!! Heres some a picture and a video: Video of first one: Bigger one a little later: On the downside, my baitmonkey is going CRAZZZZY
  10. hahahha thats great
  11. Canoes and bass fishing go together like mashed taders and gravy. No better way to sneak up into the structure IMHO. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g9/catfishguy/LBC06-07214.jpg
  12. No action on the lake but the sunset was inspiring. A picture says a thousand words.
  13. Tomorrow is going to be in the mid 60s and I'm skip'n school. I've been penned up all cold winter long and I'm just about ready to explode. Its been 4 months since I've smelt the smell of fish on my hands. I swear if I have to sit in school all day tomorrow when its that nice outside I would go BONKERS. So I'm doing my work tonight and going to spend the day on the lake. Tonight I'll be up late cleaning my rods and reels, organizing tackle boxes, sharpening hooks, swapping skirts and stuff of the sort. I'll be up in the morning, make some pancakes, load up my bike then yeeee-haw I'm going fishing!
  14. I got LBH by half an inch
  15. 31 pats 35 giants hopefuly....
  16. God job Glenn! It only takes two shakes of a lamb's tail to load anything now.
  17. I like doing that..... on a bike. ;D
  18. We where hunting in blinds (never walking through the woods) on a private fenced ranch. I'm not sure what the laws are about wearing orange in Texas but we where plenty safe without it. Now if I was walking around in the woods this time of year here in NJ, I would want as much blaze on as possible. Its plain unhealthy to go stomping around these parts without orange on becuase it is so heavily hunted.
  19. Well thanks. I was going to use the song "God Blessed Texas" but I couldnt get it to work. (iTunes silly security stuff....)
  20. A few weeks ago we had our anual deer camp down at my uncle's ranch in Texas. It was loads of fun even though I wasn't able to get a shot at a deer. It sure beats 20 degrees and going to school up here! Heres the video:
  21. counter strike: source
