  1. Even if the owner says it's ok, why would you do it? You don't see it as wrong or unethical at all?? What if you bought something you really wanted, only to find out some other jerk used it for a day, week, whatever and then returned it. I don't know about you, but when i buy something new, it dang well better be NEW, not used and abused. Jason
  2. If there is any on the paint...GET IT OFF FAST!!! My mustang got egged once by some jealous rice boys...that stuff will eat the paint in a hurry. Jason
  3. i have not used the "Popp'n" toad, but have used the regular Sizmic Toad a lot. I think with the popp'n toad you work it like a top water popper, or you can also swim it on top like a buzz bait. The legs give very nice action. Jason
  4. Great vid Russ!! Hopefully i'll have video for the next one, as i'm getting a camera for christmas from the wife. Although, at the rate we're growing around here...it will probably be video of ice fishing Jason

  7. Sounds like a great day!! Pics won't work because you have to be Registered to see them. Can you host them somewhere else? Jason
  8. oh you bet it will..... First mod is to get a hitch put on it so i can haul my jon boat to the lakes. Or i guess i could just fold the seats down and slide it in the back. I'll just have to put a red flag on the back of the boat since it will stick out a ways! ;D
  9. Well, the wife and I are expecting our first child at the beginning of April, so we needed to upgrade to a nicer vehicle and 4 doors. Also good fuel economy. And i don't do Imports. So we bought this yesterday. '07 Dodge Caliber SXT Stone White w/ Slate Gray cloth interior

  11. just a question, but is it only because of the emails and catalogs that they "suck", or did you have a bad experience sometime? Jason
  12. Hey guys, looking for somebody to build me one spinnerbait. It will be a gift for my wife for christmas. Basically what i'm looking for is a double willow blade spinnerbait, white head with a pink skirt, and both blades painted pink. Also some small glitter on everything, you know, make it sparkle. If someone can do this, please let me know. I would of course pay before anything was started, but i'm kinda in a pinch since i need it by christmas. Thanks guys!! Jason
  13. Ok, these three "depth" finders are going to be basically the same, with the Garmin having probably less abilities than the other 2. I don't know for sure, as i've never looked at the Garmin personally. I'm just going to post pictures of the 3 different screens, and you'll see the difference clearly in the display of each. Garmin FF90...as you can see, the display is very "pixely", which i personally hate. For not much more money you can get a much better picture and more functions. Eagle Fisheasy 320C...now, of course this does have the color screen, and a much better picture over all than the Garmin, but to me personally, i don't see the advantage of the color over the black and white, as you'll see in the next picture. Eagle FishMark 320...Black and White screen, but very very readable. Plenty of functions for everything you'd need it to do. This is why i chose this one over the color screen, it was just like i said, i didn't see the advantage to it. Of course, it's totally up to you. I'm just trying to show you, as far as viewing the screen, the FishMark 320 is very nice for it's price range ($150). It has tons of functions and will be great for what you want. Try to go to a BPS or Cabelas or the like and play with them for a while, check them all out real good before you buy. Good Luck!! Jason
  14. I use the Rapala Skitter Walk and it was very easy to learn to walk the dog. Jason

  16. it is short for low budget hookers, these guys are just making jokes about his name. Jason
  17. i noticed something odd about the tail on a fish i caught this past saturday...it's like purple at the base and then the tail seems more red than usual... I didn't know if this was just because of the colder water (42 degrees) or if it was a sign of sickness or close to death or what. She did fight really well, so she seemed healthy as a pig. Jason

  19. welcome aboard!! and by the way, you're English is better than a lot of people from here ;D Jason
  20. i keep all my gear inside my house as well. That way, it never gets too hot or too cold for an extended period of time. Jason
  21. I'd say they look mighty darn good! Jason
  22. I use the Rapala Digital Scale 50lb. Got it for $20 My dad uses the Berkley. I caught a fish once and we stuck it on both scales. It weighed the same on both. So either both are accurate, or both are off the exact same amount of weight, ha ha. Jason
  23. Thanks guys!! LBH, yes it's a yellow jon boat. I don't quite have all the carpet done and need to get some seats. i'll post some pictures of it when i get the carpet done...hopefully soon, i have a roll of carpet sitting here by me but didn't have the time to finish it, and i wanted to get out on the water, lol. Jason
