  8. They are Jerkbaits. Basically you use a stop and go retrieve, but with jerks instead of cranking. Try a jerk, jerk, pause, jerk, jerk, pause, etc. The bass will tell you if they want it worked faster or slower. You just have to try different retrieves until you get it right. Jason
  9. ha ha, love number 5 ;D and i agree with you
  10. use them anywhere you would a spinner bait. Jason
  11. I agree, it's difficult to fish soft plastics when it's too windy. When the wind comes up, i usually switch to a spinnerbait. For weighted soft plastics, i like a 7' graphite, medium-heavy power with a fast tip. What kind of rod are you using? Jason

  13. I've used mostly the brush hogs, but bought some of these to try out this year. Mann's Hardnose Mosquito Hawk from the tests i've done in a tank, this thing should work awesome. those wings flap like crazy!

  17. I use a 4/0 for a 6 inch worm of any kind. It certainly wouldn't hurt to pick up some 5/0 and try it out. Jason
  18. The water i fish is almost always heavily stained. When using faster moving baits such as cranks and spinner baits, i always use a bright color such as chartreuse or a firetiger type. I feel that the sound and vibration attracts the fish, then they get just a quick glimpse of the bright bait, helping them hone in on it. When fishing soft plastics and jigs, slow moving baits, i use darker colors, so that the fish can see them a little better and longer before they strike. Just my way i guess...others may differ. Jason
