  1. I was thinking of getting two of those ninja grass blades I got a 50lb bps prowler and I want to fish areas that are heavier in grass but don't have the money right now for the trolling motor I really want, wondering if this ninja grass blade will help out my 50lb BPS prowler?(16ft Fiberking Bomber fiberglass)
  2. It happens, here in South Florida during the spring the fishing is insane the numbers and size, than comes summer alot of rain (high water) and hot temperatures than you really gotta work for them.
  3. Thanks guys!!! Got alot of confidence in senko, Spinner bait and pop r think I'll go with that combo

I never fish boat docks just because the area I fish doesn't have them but this weekend gonna be fishing alot of them.I was hoping to get some suggestions of baits to use the water is shallow 4-6 ft stained with vegetation and rocks. Thanks!!
  5. I had 20lb power pro on my spinning reel didn't work out to good I'll try 10 thanks for response.
  6. Do you guys use braid on your spinning gear for topwater plugs and chuggers if so what pound?
  7. Pobably not the answer you want to hear right now but as time goes on and you spend more time on water during different weather conditions trying different baits the fish will tell and just remember when those conditions occur again and you should cash in.
  8. Big time!!I had one on a couple of weeks ago close to 10lbs what a great figh!!!
  9. We have a ton of them down here in South Florida they put up one hell of a fight and are a big no comparison the fight of a bowfin to a bass same thing with Oscars and snakeheadsuch better fighting fish than bass pound for pound IMHO
  10. Same here!! Where I fish I believe the reason why I do so good with those Walmart spinner baits is it's size,I'm fishing shallow water with alot of grass, when that spinnerbait come thru that grass they destroy it!They are cheaply made you have to straighten them out after every fish, sharpen the hook and replace the skirts when a Oscar or mudfish slam it,but it's the right size for where I'm fishing and right blade combo so I use them .Got a gallon bag full of them with a bag of zman skirts.
  11. Thanks!!!That thing looks awesome!!!That's what I need!!!
  12. What type of boat do you have?Do you fish in areas with alot of grass? How's the new trolling motor work?
  13. I believe there are alot of big bass all over this area just not as easy to come by that's what I think is big draw to our sport.
  14. Is it possible to get a 70 lb thrust hand trolling motor the reason I ask I might have a problem mounting the one with foot control it's old bass boat design runs great though
  15. On a zoom uvibe speed worm June bug Texas rigged pegged with 3/16 ounce tungsten bullet weight in the flats at Lox
  16. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it,I was in the flats today wind was howling and the current was flowing hard I could barely get around with that prowler it's time to upgrade.
  17. I'm in the market for a new trolling motor, right now I'm using a 50lb thrust Bps prowler on a Fiberking Bomber 16ft fiberglass boat that's real heavy,I fish in South Florida in the flats where it's very shallow and alot of vegetation to cut thru and the prowler just isn't cutting it no pun intended.Im looking to keep it under $1,000 and foot controlled, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
  18. First off happy memorial day to those who served.Got a late start this morning wasn't sure if I wanted to deal with the high water and potentially bad weather decided to go started out in West canal picked up some small bass about a pound each on a uvibe speed worm than ventured out in the flats and got this girl on a uvibe speed worm as well.Water is extremely high and the pumps are opened up and the road into the ramp is a mess but that 6lber was worth it?
  19. Congrats!!!I gotta do that with hollow body frog
  20. Texas rigged bait here in Florida specifically uvibe speed worm June bug or watermelon ,buzz it across the top ,swim it,pop it off the bottom, flip it, (1/8 ounce tungsten weight pegged)very popular worm here in Florida.
  21. My wife has become a great angler in a short period of time I'm more excited when she catches fish than me,on a side note It's mind blowing to me that lure companies,tv shows or professional tournaments don't have women more involved like professional football and baseball do,talk about a missed opportunity.
  22. Mark waypoints when you go into the flats, you don't want to spend the night out there?
  23. We are the luckiest guys in the world having wives that enjoy our sport as much as we do.
  24. Thanks for response looking forward to it.
  25. I'm going to be moving to the Ocala area in the near future and I've fished canal systems basically my whole life, how different will my approach be from canal fishing to lake fishing?
