  1. It takes me sometimes 3 or 4 hours to figure out what the bass want and where they are holding is this considered normal amount of time to figure it out or am I slacking? Than I say to myself why couldn't I figure this out earlier ,than it seems to change again, I guess it's just the nature of our sport.
  2. Might sound selfish of me but I work hard got a very physically demanding job so when the weekend rolls around to fish that's my time just me and mother nature I don't even like to fish around other boats.
  3. I fish by myself 75 percent of the time I take my wife out and friend from time to time.I prefer fishing alone I am more focused,I fish alot better, figure out patterns better and it gives me time to get in touch with nature and clear my head.
  4. Fish in a speedo,so when another boat pulls up in that area they leave so I got the spot to myself less fishing pressure
  5. That uvibe is such a diverse soft plastic bait. Thanks for the reports guys.
  6. Thanks for info!!! I figured that out real quick that it's probably not a good idea to walk the frog on the mats I was just inching it ,stop for a minute, let it flutter etc gotta a couple 2 lbers doing that so that was cool, where I fish there is a big competition for those grass mats between the junk fish ie Oscars, gar, myans etc and the bass had alot of junk fish snapping at frog on the mats
  7. One thing I learned today on water it's not easy walking the frog on those grass mats ,I was just moving it slowly and stopping and pop the rod tip up to have it move got a few that way on it that grass is thick....
  8. I was wondering what my fellow South Florida fishermen rod setups are for fishing this grass? Here is mine: Senko- trig weightless Weighted trig -Worms/creature baits Flipping stick -craws/ creature baits Frog rodStanley ribbit/ pad crusher Spinner bait rod/rattle trap Top water plug rod -devils horse/ pop r

Just find it funny that's all Browsing thru the different threads I see certain people basically saying I'm tired of seeing this thread being posted about and than certain ones go on and on that's all
  10. Wurming67 posted a topic in Everything Else
Find it ironic that certain guys in this community will chime in to kill a thread but there is some threads that are 44 pages long guess politics exist even in fishing forums.....?
  11. Thanks for info!!I almost bought popping pad crusher but I thought the regular one would be better for me me fishing these grass mats
  12. Thanks guys been you tubing walking the frog looks like just gonna take some practice,Zell Rowland does his frog a little different like its hopping( ie up/down)
  13. I want to get into frog fishing never gave it a chance I see alot of people on here posting about booyah pad crasher. Is there a certain technique you use? I fish in shallow water, stained, heavy grass so it seems a hollow body frog would be good for that situation?I got a 7ft mh rod with a bps 2 /6.8.1 and 50 lb power braid is that a good set up for frog fishing? Thanks guys!!
  14. It would be great if more reel companies made reel spools to hold less line for bass reels.
  15. I just got a pair of Nash Wiley x prescription ,bi focal, polarized, gray blue mirror absolutely love them use them for work and fishing paid like $250 can't beat it
  16. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your first boat!
  17. What I'm starting to notice is I'm really getting in tune with what's going on in the food chain in the area I fish, I'm out there every week 2x about 8 hours each day wish I could go more but work, wife, kid, dog and cat ?
  18. Since I started reading that bill Murphy book it's opened up my mind what's going on in that food chain and I don't know if it's coquednce but I'm catching better size lately
  19. We use to catch a ton of snakeheads in our 12 ft Jon boat in Coral springs fishing the canals parallel to saw express way ,we put in at sample road ,Atlantic Blvd behind the church ,end of royal palm near aquatic complex Coral springs drive and sawgrass,Coral ridge drive and sawgrass, plus there was some nice bass in those spots, get those $1 Walmart spinner baits for snake heads cause they will do some damage to your good lures pm me if u want more info
  20. Alot of people watch what others are doing on the water some do the opposite and get better results I talked to about half dozen fishermen on water today and we're saying they weren't getting much ,the fish will tell u where and how they want it without a doubt, they didn't stop biting you didn't adapt to what they wanted or how they wanted it. Alot of guys here in Florida if they aren't getting a bite every other cast they think the fish aren't eating anymore, sometimes you gotta and hour or two trying different techniques to the changing weather pattern to get them strike might take longer but they are there and will eat if presented properly and right depth in my opinion, time on the water is bottom.line no book or video or forum can replace that
  21. I just started reading Bill Murphy book and applied his theory to today's fishing and I don't know if it was coquednce or his theory but my catches we're bigger today this was first cast of the morning 4.14 This was last bass in Florida so don't bother moving here they are all on there way to New York true story bro
  22. And the bad paying jobs and very expensive to live plus all bass left Florida heading to New York I heard.
