Loxahatchee Federal Preserve Monday 4/02/18 7am -1pm Sunny Wind light Water lighly stained Went out this morning to Loxahatchee Federal Preserve off of Lox road.Fishing the North canal first thing I noticed was water is getting really low and water had a light stain to it,so I started the day off throwing frog had a few blow ups but nothing stuck.Switched over to gambler big eze got a handful off of that.Than went to Senko got a ton of small ones off of that,so I figured the bigger ones were either deeper or pressed against the bank tried a Texas rigged worm and rage craw got some small ones on those baits.Saw alot of Gators,Oscars,gar and mudfish couldn't not figure out where the bigger ones were that's what it's been lately out there a ton of small ones.A few weeks ago the bigger ones were all over the place.Good day on water better than working be back at it next weekend.Tight lines!!

Lol besides seeing the bass fishing shows i enjoyed seeing the different types of species they we're fishing for and the techniques they used for them and all the different locations they would go, gave us ideas for vacations. Best part my wife liked it so I got her away from the Kardashians and actually she's become a really good Fisher women.

I am really disappointed that Xfinity dropped WFN,thought alot of people were watching it with fishing being such a popular sport,me and my family use to watch it all the time now it's just available on dish Network I really don't want to get dish Network but I might have to ?

Sounded like lox today a ton of small fish and junk fish,got a handful of fish over 2lbs but they were deeper.Thanks for the report ?

I noticed by using a ewg hook and skin hooking my baits I don't miss many fish.

On soft plastics does anyone bury the hook anymore or is everyone skin hooking it?

Use to go to bps but never had what I was looking for so I go now exclusively thru TW and it's alot more convenient,use to go to Dicks but not any more due to there company policy changes......?

I'm sure they do I was sincerely asking I grew up in Florida never fished anywhere else that's y I was asking

Which technique they use in Wisconsin that works well in Florida?I know Florida generally speaking is heavy grass fishing.

Totally agree well said I was talking to a friend about this site and new fishermen have to be very careful with information they are receiving because what works in Wisconsin isn't necessarily going to work in Florida and might get frustrated on the sport ,the fish and wildlife around you will tell u what's going on u just gotta listen and watch basically get on tune with your area.

For that price you have alot of options,you have to decide what type of hull you want depending on type of water you fish and which options the boat offers that are important to you,also take someone with you that has a boat or has owned boats and definitely take it for a test run,check the hull for cracks,look at the decks for warping,check make sure all electrical is good and on all components work,look at prop and lower unit for any type of damage,look at how well the boat looks will tell you how well it was maintained,if you can take it to trusted marine shop and have them check it out throughly.Happy hunting ?

I noticed I get alot more bites on smaller Spinnerbaits than the larger ones and the smaller ones don't tear u up throwing it all day

You know you had a good day fishing when this happens got around 60-70?

Bass are predators they see an opportunity for food and take it,lures are made to catch fishermen, bass react they don't think.

Nothing wrong with 12 ,it's a great preserve with alot of fish and great wild life surrounding you,they are buried in that vegation throw your bait at or right in usually once you pull your baits thru it be prepared for a strike, I a drive silver tundra with an old bomber bass boat I'm out there like 3x a week if you see me give me a shout.
