Thanks for great report as usual!!Sounded like a great day at Lox!!!I heard from my neighbor that sawgrass recreation has been hot ? I fished lox Saturday 2/10/18 in North canal did really good had alot of fish best one was 3llbs caught them on spinnerbaits and jig n craw they were feasting till about 11am than shut down big time.Gonna head out Monday morning see what I can find.

I agree with you I am sure there are plenty of good rods and reels out there but this is a pretty sweet combo especially at this price point,well needless to say I know where what tax refund will be spent on ?

Thanks for info and video just got back from using it and just watched the video great info thank you.Funny thing is I started the morning off with it set at 10 and adjusted brake system but I like that spool trick he showed great info.Dont know where to start it was an amazing day fishing the fish we're eating all morning approx( 40 fish)till about noon I started the day with dobyns rod and CT with a spinnerbait and it casted a mile smooth as silk no where near a backlash and wind was howling about 20mph loved the long distance of casting it ,the smoothness of it the handles very comfortable,strong drag system,light and very comfortable very high quality reel you can tell from the craftsmanship of it and performance now the rod OMG light, comfortable unbelievable sensitivity between the two it felt like I had no weight in.my hand.I switched it to.my worm rod cause the fish we're destroying the worms, the sensitivity was insane I was feeling every little thing I had a Gloomis years ago and I would put this rod in that category for half the price.I have like 5 other setups like bps pro qualifiers,Lews and there was huge difference in performance between them.Needsless to say I am going to convert over to this combo just mind blowing performance at this price point thanks so much to the guys that endorsed this combo!!!

Looking at a new rod n reel for my spinnerbait was thinking of getting a Daiwa Tatula CT with a Dobyns fury or a Lews speed spool LFS with a Abu Garcia Veritas.Which do you think is better combo?

Myself I bring 6 T-rig worm Spinnerbait Speed worm Senko Floating rapala Frog South Florida

That's my thinking as well I spent this money on them and all those lures I should use them lol.I have so much confidence in spinnerbaits it's what produces the most fish for me .

Part of me was thinking just bring a couple of rods and just focus on a couple of lures to give them a chance to produce results instead of constantly changing rods with different lures tied on.

I bring 6 and thought that was alot lol thanks for all great responses!!

Been some great fishing lately in the Everglades

I use to use all brands of spinnerbaits now I use those cheap $1 Walmart spinnerbaits and I catch plenty of bass and exotics on them,i got a big zip lock bag of them the skirts come loose from time to time but no big deal.Side note don't see alot of love for spinnerbaits but I use them regularly and they produce fish and have for a long time.

Checkout body glove pretty decent polarization for the price and VERY comfortable as well.Seen a rack of them at bps in Dania beach fl not sure if other bps carry them.
