I use tungsten for my worm weights as well as my drop shot rigs wish the stuff was less expensive or a way to pour my own for jigs.
  4. Walmart is undergoing a rebuilding of sorts and trying to cut inventory. They are taking past sales of firearms in each store and fazing firearms out of the stores that have low sales. Walmart is also fazing out the tackle that doesnt sell and having a better quality but less amount of tackle on there sales floor and in inventory. They are by no means doing away with the fishing tackle all together. Think about it one of the top pro tours in the nation sponsors is going to do away with there tackle only way I see that is if they stop sponsoring the FLW.
  5. I have used the 1oz baits in late winter early spring to fish deeper. The 1oz drops faster and great for fishing deep water chunk rock prior to spawn and transition patterns to spawn. In clear water I use anything silver and in darker water I use craw color patterns.
  6. I use a flambeau soft sided box got it on clearance at wallyworld holds 6 3700 boxes plus spinnerbait buzzbait box and room for extras. I wll make one suggestion get one larger than you think you need because the baitmonkey is strong and if you fill you box up with what you already have then you will just have to buy another box to put all the new stuff you will have to have.
  7. I have caught a few small mouth on a strike king clown colored jerk bait and a nice one on a wcct western hula stick. As far as finding fishing reports google the state or the lake for fishing information.
  8. Take a look under links on the forum and look up state links. I know fisher of men have a club in eastern Arkansas but im sure there are more than that happy hunting

  10. Check on the forum links under bass tackle shops or tackle manufacturers.
  11. I am with harshman on the spinnerbaits I cut the skirts up to the bottom of the hook. For jigs if its a heavy flippin jig I let the skirt hang down 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch but on light weight swim jigs or finesse jigs I trim the skirts up to 1/4 of a inch of the hook.
  12. I use jigs with rattles in all situations except for extremely clear water I suppose I am of the school of thought that noise is a great attractant to fish.

  20. I use them if they come on a bait that the company sells that way but I dont buy any for use like with t-rigs or dropshots etc.
  21. According to the commercially available fluid beds they only use 2 to 3 cfm of air to get the powder moving. Heres the link for the instruction for a commercially available one.
