When it comes to deep diving crank baits I would have to say my favorite is the Luhr Jensen Hot lips and power dive minnows I also use the baby hot lips as well with great success.

Growing up as a kid on the Columbia River out in oregon I had no access to waders any kind of boat or tube. Dont count out just fishing off the bank I had great success catching smallies on the rock piles and gravel piles below the John Day Dam.

Has anyone used or have experience with this new X Caliber TX3 Leverage flexible hook? I have noticed them being used on the new booyah boogee bait and just wondered if they were just a gimmick or if they actually make a diffrence in hooking up fish. I remember years ago when they first came out I got a free sample of the power grubs. Me and a friend went fishing side by side same color (chartruese) I was using the power grub he was using a regular grub. I caught 5 fish in 15 min he caught none. Do they attract fish better I dont know for sure but I do belive in them and I often use them and do very well with them.

I love the Dives To baits especially the sure sets they have always ran well out of the box and I have never broken the lip off of one yet.

Im just in love with the rapala DT Sure set series of crankbaits.

I would have to say at this point since its the one I use the most a zoom trick worm but than ask me later and ill bet it has changed.

I fish both strike king and booyah and I have been nothing but very happy with both including there buzz baits as well.

Looking for a boater that is planning to fish either the Ozark BFL tournaments and (or) the BASS Weekend series and wanting to share expenses anyone interested pm me.

I live in Myrtle live about 45 mins from Norfork lake I fish there and Bull Shoals often as I can get down to Table Rock as well. Ahhhh Heck I fish anywhere I can and as often as I can.

I wear eye protection while fishing all the time polarized sunglasses. I have found yet another good reason to do it now as well. Sun can hurt your eyes just like it can hurt your skin the prolonged exposure to UV rays is not good for them especially reflecting off the water fo 8 to 10 hrs a day.

There is a reason that this is the best bass site on the web. I have picked up alot of tricks from alot of people. Things that I would have never thought of I been bass fishing alot of years and its nice to get some fresh input and tricks from the people on this forum.

Guides can be invaluable on waters you have never fished. They can save you time on locations, paterns, and lures being used a certain time of year. Just be sure your getting a reputable guide and check there refrences and ask lots of questions before hiring one.

ghoti is right the stuff does stink bad but it seems to work fished a spot once knew there were fish there no bites remembered I had the stuff and put a little on my lure and bang first cast fish on continued to catch more fish 12 in all if I remember.

I dont think fish are color blind they see some spectrum of color. But I also think that alot of lure colors are for catching fisherman.

I fish alone most the time but when I take someone its usually my 2 daughters.

I have 3 favorite lakes that I fish on often Norfork, Bull Shoals, Table Rock but I would have to say my favorite of the 3 is Table Rock Lake.
