Siebert Outdoors Jigs
Maybe it is all on my end I'm not ever betting on the internet to be the same twice ever. I wasn't trying to say I hated him or his products. I was just stating for me the website wasn't good. I listed the few issues I had so in the event he read this it wasn't like I was just saying crap for the hell of it. And if he was considering a new website maybe give him some ideas. That was my experience on his site nothing more. All the ones I didn't post links to worked great on my Chrome browser Version 53.0.2785.116 m. As I stated I really like the products I have of his and actually plan to order some more maybe today.

Left handed or right handed baitcaster for true-running crankbaits?
In the slim chance Newton disagrees the cure would simply buy another rod It is truly the cure to all fishing issues lets add another 1"! Wait spider senses say the BASS Gods have spoken and everyone will need 8' to 10ft rods in the very near future to be successful. This has opened up roughly 24 new one inch incremental rod sizes for the industry to correct distortion from the earths rotational counter forces of reeling from the wrong side. Surely we will cure this issue now.

Left handed or right handed baitcaster for true-running crankbaits?
You guys have all left out the fact that a 7' 7/8" heavy rod with 1/2 a parabolic action and a extra extra extra fast tip will correct any distortion from the earths rotational counter forces of reeling from the wrong side. You can always fine adjust the results by adding or removing 1/64" in rod length.

My take on the $1 Walmart spinnerbait
Use the cheap zip tie trick Catt speaks of on the skirt. And to get really fancy change the swivel out for a quality Sampo or Worth ball bearing ones will make them much better for a small upgrade price. But yeah I've seen many fish caught with them just the way they were sold.

Hard to be a weekend angler
You two don't need to bring common sense into this. You will really mess up the heads of those that think they need every rod in 1" increments, or that bass won't eat a lure without a flouorocarbon leader no matter how many A-rigs get swallowed. Knowing what bass like, their habits in general (studying your prey) will be a great assistance for any angler. Study your local bodies of water. (maps of depths trees rock streams rivers feeding it etc) A lot of this can be done off the water. Just like practicing with your equipment. You can get deadly accurate flipping etc in your backyard. Doesn't mean you will be as good as a guy that does the same studying and fishes regularly but you can find and catch fish.

Opinions on tracker 195
I don't own one nor do I know anyone that does. That being said I think I have read a few posts here that mentioned the 195 cracking transoms. I could be dead wrong It may have been a discussion on adding power poles to them I don't remember. But you might search for these issues and see if there is a pattern of them cracking. Oh here is the thread I remember

The Birth Of 10-Foot Bass Rods...
I have a 7'11" Flippin rod and yeah its a pita in the house. Its great when on the boat or out on a bank but dang a 2 ft longer rod would most likely get damaged around here. Great point OCdockskipper

Siebert Outdoors Jigs
These dont work like that. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Dredge-Brush-490.htm http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Dredge-Football-Jig-489.htm http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Grid-Iron-Football-Jig-471.htm Or these although I can pretty well determine their style. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Grid-Iron-Arky-Jig-472.htm http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Swim-Jig-902.htm Just my opinion, not saying I am right, but this is the way I would think the picture should be. You click + on the magnification on that one and you can really see the detail. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Dock-Rocker-Jig-302.htm

Siebert Outdoors Jigs
Slayed a few yesterday on the Siebert jig. The Dredge Brush or Grid Iron Brush Jig are great all around jigs and I have zero issues with hookup unless I screwed up. I will agree their website plain sucks for me. When trying to see detailed pics of the head design some of those pics are still small when you select the blown up version. That is OK if your experienced and know the jig style by name but many of us are still checking out the new designs etc and would like to see what we are considering buying. Also when trying to look at the colors of the skirts to compare what colors you want its hard to compare if they are on two separate pictures/frames. I love their products that I have tried and know what I have but the website does deter me from shopping.

What would you do??
ROFL should have bought a lottery ticket. That sounds like a whole lot of a fishing tale if I ever heard one. A non boater knowing exactly where, exactly when, and exactly what to throw on that exact day. Just saying maybe Jimmy was pulling someones leg.

Palomar Knot Vs. Improved Clinch Knot
Palomar - Works with mono and braid (the only lines I use) - Extremely strong in most any test ever tried - Very simple to tie correctly for guys with big fingers and not the greatest dexterity

Boo-Yah Pond Magic Spinnerbaits
I stick to 3/8 as my small spinnerbaits. They are big enough to get a larger fish attention, cast better, will get a little depth, and a little tougher.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
Hey Ben is almoat as old as I am. I know how I feel getting out of bed some days it's not bad others.... Last week Ben was some sort god. Just rewind ESPN. I'd be very cautious bragging on that Eagle's team. They aren't a very proven team. Anyone can win or lose this early in the season. I'm no Stealers fan BTW

The latest sale thread
I got a email from Lew's with some deals September 26th - October 9th on some rods and spinning combos. As for Baitcasting rods they had these David Fritts Crankbait Speed Sticks $50 off a $110 rod. Pretty good price cut if the rods are decent. I have never used them. There were others as well I can forward anyone who wants the complete email just PM me your email. It says at the bottom of my email: Quantities are limited! Email your orders to CustomerService@lews.com, fax them to 417.881.5387, or call 877.470.5397. I didnt see any sale on the Lew's website so I guess you have to have the email to see all the deals. There rest I think were all different spinning reels, rods, or combos.

Daiwa bearing oil
Besides the color I'm going to go out on a limb and say they are probably the same. A standard 3n1oil works great and I suspect that is what many are selling colored or possibly a variant of. From the ones I have that seems to be the case.

Braided VS Mono
I'll take the hammer. If you can't fix it with a hammer get a bigger hammer. Eventually you will fix it or fix it where no one else can. I fish Berkley Big Game 12# a lot. It's a good universal size works good for many applications. I'm going to up it to 15# next time I order line just because of the ever so slight difference in diameter it's next to nothing for that 3# extra. The #12 has been awesome for a all around line though. I also use braid on a couple of my reels for the flipping and heavy cover situations (frogs). I find the whole bass being spooked by braid humorous. Maybe trout or some other species it's a issue. Bass eat A rigs, double whopper poppers, spinnerbaits, and strike with wire leaders and in my past experience never had a issue. If your bored tie all the leader knots you want but I won't have any thanks.

Possible new forum?
At this point what technique is there not at least 3 to 5 videos explaining it by some well rounded angler, semi pro, or pro? I mean how many times have you got to hear "semi-slack" or "pilings" "rocks" or "wood". Unless you have been dead the last 100 years a pet dog can show you how to Texas Rig, and Carolina Rig. And let's not forget the word "finesse" has been said enough my great great great grandkids will be hearing it in their sleep. Seriously what is there not videos of?
