I dont guess I know then. That is as often as I run mine on really warm days with no issue. Maybe do as the others have recommended and try the Sure-Life labs.

Measure or Weigh?
Just curious why in that order?

Measure or Weigh?
I'll only weight if it's a large fish. And unless I am looking to put in my live well it doesn't get measured unless again it's a larger fish.

Buying reel from Ebay?
Purchased my last 2 reels from eBay. Just like shopping for the correct reel you have to be aware of the details when shopping a auction site. Stick with great reputation sellers use a payment method that gives you some sense of security and shop its really that simple.

Yum Dingers
You guys that want that Senkos type action should check out forum sponsor Buzz Baits Sassy Stick it's extremely close to the Senko and at a reasonable price. Of course if your bull headed and are unwilling to be open-minded about it you can pay $8 a bag for Senkos all you want. I agree with Heavy Dluxe and Senko lover "What @Senko lover said is spot on with one slight alteration... That 10% wherein the bass will only hit senkos is a little high. That's because there is at least some percentage of days where they will only hit a [BPS Stik-O, SK Shim-E-Stik, etc etc etc]." The day you think fish will only hit a certain brand color or shape lure is the day you hurt your fishing.

How often does yours cycle on auto? Mine has several different auto cycle times and a run. I have this on the aeration and on the pump to change the water. The hotter it gets the more I change the water and run the aeration. I have left it on run during the hottest days. So far my fish have always been extremely good shape when the day is done.

Lew's Carbon Blue - my impulse buy
I'm a Lew's user as well. I have several different models of baitcasters of theirs and they all seem solid. Like WCP said with no details can't say much but Lew's is a good company from my experience.

JJ's Magic
From my experience 15-20 seconds and it's either dry to the touch or so close by the time it touches water it will be. It's fast but I'm usually in warm weather. Never used it in the cold that I remember. As for lasting it actually penetrates the plastic. I have never had any worm, craw or soft plastic outlast the dye. I actually have used JJs for several years. And it has been a good product. But just last weekend I used mine and had it on the tailgate in the shade. I didn't notice while fishing the sun had changed direction and was directly on it. Next time I see my chartreuse it's 1/2 in the Ziploc baggie out of the bottle. I know I put the lid on but apparently it couldn't hold the pressure. So many times I almost tossed the baggie as the bottle is glass and the lid seems sturdy. Boy am I glad I didnt. ALWAYS keep JJs in some extra protection.

What is mono line?
Got to love technology. 1/2 BS mixed with 1/2 who knows what. I have seen numerous times guys standing in front of the 50 different kinds of line scratching their head. It's absurd and many of those looking to buy line have used that exact word absurd.

Biggest of the year
I agree when your thumb looks like that it was a good day. Congrats on the nice catch.

If you could fish with anyone from the forums, who would it be?
That would be a great start no doubt. Heck there are many that I wouldn't mind letting on my boat. Or we could go on theirs. I get so into the fishing I probably wouldn't be any good company. I wouldn't even know who was fishing with me. Can we have name tags?

What a day
Well at least you did catch some fish. Also no lure was totally lost and even the guide was saved so all in all it could have been way worse.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
I'm pretty sure he's saying the thug life style seems to show through. And I see it on occasions in the NFL. Just watch the news about once a month, one is guaranteed. And that is only the ones getting picked up / caught. We all know that is only a small % based on statistics. Just watch the stupidity this weekend if Seattle does what is rumored.

Easy the PC police will be here to shame you for having an opinion. Yeah I still watch the Cowboys but not like I use to.

Your dumbest mistakes on the water. I made mine today.
That is your call. Some use backing to save a few bucks on line using cheap crap line for a filler so to speak. Some use tape. Some even claim its stops the braid from slipping. Personally I tie to my spool It isn't slipping unless the spool slips. And I am not a fan of extra knots and I have a few bucks to fill my spool with line. Others have different opinions I am sure they will eventually chime in.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
I agree now add the Cowboys and its complete. And I have always rooted for my home teams Rangers, Mavericks, Stars, but the last few years the product just hasn't been winning. I would rather watch the Stars first now days and that is sad as I am no hockey fan at all. But you know the Mavs and Cowboys aren't winning. Rangers seem to disappoint me when I watch so that leaves the hockey.

Your dumbest mistakes on the water. I made mine today.
That line should work but I am sure some will have their opinion. I have used some spiderwire braid not that exact stuff but it worked fine. My reels all but a couple (my crank bait reels spools are solid) have holes in the spools. I don't have that issue of getting into backing or it coming off. If my braid goes to far that fish is screwed unless he jerks the reel out of my hands. As far as a mistake I sailed a lure over a old dead snag. This snag was sticking out of the water quite a bit. Lets see my partner stood on the front seat that had a 48 quart cooler in it and used a 7'11" flipping rod stretched as far as he could reach to get my favorite Mann's baby 1-back. I bear hugged the 2 snags to keep the boat from pushing away while he kept poking at the lure. The whole time I was thing we are all going into the lake. This was when I was a really bad rookie with bait caster. I thought I could split 2 of them snags and pull the lure right between them. I mean that line just had to come down right over the top into the 1000 slits in the top of that snag. I was not happy but it was my fault. I'm not a bad rookie I am just a rookie now. And it was his idea to try and save it. I was just going to buy another but he knew that one had been a good one for me.
