YUM Dinger vs. Strike King Shim-E-Stick
Out of the two.... Dingers but if I had to choose a stick bait.... Senkos are still my favorite.

Ragetail Menace
T-Rigged with a 1/8 bullet weight and a 3/0 hook.

That Weird Purchase That Makes Life a Little Better
Ok. It's pretty cool. I stand corrected.

That Weird Purchase That Makes Life a Little Better
I have been looking at one of these as well. I will be getting a kayak soon and it could come in handy. Only thing though, I think I could easily make one of these.

Rotater cuff or pulled muscle ! ?
X-Ray then MRI. The X-Ray will show if there is a tear and if fluid has built up in the shoulder. The MRI will give finer detail about the complete issue but I would start there. It could be an impingement as well, tendinitis or just a good old fashioned tear. Range of motion in the shoulder can dictate where to begin as well.

That Weird Purchase That Makes Life a Little Better
Ok. There are few odd luxuries/indulgences in everyones life that we could live without (cell phones, computers, specialty tools, Starbucks, etc.).... So I picked up a Simplehuman Trash Can. This thing costs about $180 (I know it's crazy) and it is just a kitchen trash can but it's double the size of my old one, the lid moves up and down with a foot peddle, its also flat on top and the bags fit properly, are stored in trash can and are easy to change. My old trash can was a pain in the rear. I can't say $180 for a trash can is worth it but it has made an everyday choir that much easier.

Jig rod
MH Extra-Fast and about 7' in length is what you should shoot for. So....Yes.

Ambassadeur c4 vs Revo Beast vs Cardif A
I like the C4 but the Cardiff is just a better reel. If you are actually looking between a $140 and a $280 reel, I would suggest looking at the Shimano Calcutta>smooth and built like a tank.

G Loomis Recommendations please
If you want that long and the 893C GLX would be great. Personally I don't like a rod that long for soft plastic. I would prefer, at length, to use it for flipping. The 853C may be better for soft plastics. My personal favorite is the 803C.

St Croix power
It depends on which St. Croix Rod you are talking about. Some of the St.Croix line ups are little different from one to the next. Personally I think for a 6in Senko, you could use either one but I believe with a 5/0 hook, a six inch Senko weighs about 5/8oz. That pushes the upper limits of most M rods, St. Croix included.

J&H Tackle
I was thinking of ordering a few things from these guys > found a coupon. I have never heard of them and wanted to know what you guys think of them. https://www.jandh.com Thanks for any info.....

Anyone compared a 7MF Avid and Aetos?
I can't speak for the other but the St. Croix Avid 7 MF is a fine rod. Great for light T-Rigged soft plastic and jigs. You might be able to use for jerk baits as well.

Which one.....Daiwa Steez, Shimano Antares, or Shimano Calcutta Conquest
Thanks for all the advice. After all the research and videos, I think I am going with the Steez TW106SV-HL. I hope it will be good for everything I was looking for in a workhorse reel.

Berkeley Big Game vs. Stren Original monofilament
This gets my vote. Both lines are cheap and do a good job. Personally I like Big Game better but one of my fishing buddies uses Stren and never has any issues.

Stores in Michigan w Dobyns rods?
Dicks Sporting Goods carries them in store now. They carry the Fury. This was the first time I laid eyes on one and for $110, it is an exceptional rod.

Line recommendation for jig fishing
12lb or 15lb Seaguar Invizx

Which one.....Daiwa Steez, Shimano Antares, or Shimano Calcutta Conquest
What do you use the Conquest for and what rod do you have it on?

Big game mono memory 10lb vs 15lb
I have a like and dislike for the KVD stuff. It works only if you shake the bottle and store/use it at room temp. Take it on a hot boat and it's useless. I would spray it before I would go out when needed, just one or two pumps and that's it. I found that if you either change out the line often enough or use a good quality line, you really don't need it. I do like that it does make the line limper on spinning gear but it is short lived. It does increase casting distance but again the benefit is marginal. It's not exactly snake oil but it's no miracle cure either.

What kind of line to do you normally T-rig?
12lb Seaguar Invizx

Big game mono memory 10lb vs 15lb
For sure..... If it sits for any period of time or gets baked on a boat, the memory can get pretty bad. This is one line that can definitely benefit from line conditioner. Other than that, it is great cheap line. If you fish a lot and feel the need to change line often, this might be your go to line. As far as poundage goes, the heavier the line, the more memory it will have and all big game in time will develop it.

Which one.....Daiwa Steez, Shimano Antares, or Shimano Calcutta Conquest
I am looking to get a high end reel and can't make up my mind, especially since no store in 150 miles of me has one of them. This is a big splurge for me and I have several other setups so this will probably be a new workhorse combo to replace an old one. I will be paring it with either a St. Croix Legend Elite 7' MH Fast or G Loomis GLX 7' H Fast. I will be using it for soft plastics T-Rigged and medium sized jigs. I had the original Steez (returned) and a Calais (sold it) and I liked both for certain things. The Steez was nice and machined but sort of underwhelming at the price and after a few outings it started to have issues. I liked the Daiwa Zillion I had better. The Calais was awesome in every way except it was heavy and did not balance as well as I would have liked with the rods I had at that time. Also, it seemed to scratch easily and it had rust spots on the bottom (not a big deal for me). I have not fished a Conquest but if I decided to go that route I would use this reel for slower presentations. Thanks for any advice.

E6X bashing
One of the guys I fish with regularly uses the E6x and has never had an issue. He beats them up pretty hard and they always bring in the fish.

BPS Fishing Classic Info?
I went to Cabela's today and their sale was kind of underwhelming. A lot of stuff was picked over and the reel selection sort of stopped with the Shimano Curado.

Spincast reels
I look at this way, spincast reels aren't really designed for bass fishing (or BASH fishing for that matter). They will catch fish and I am not ashamed to say that my 8 year old daughter smoked me one day with her Barbie spincast reel and rod when I was using a set up that cost about $750. Point is, if you have line, lure, hook, patience and just plain old luck, you're going to catch fish. To me, it's all about the enjoyment. As far as them coming along in technology, I think the only one I have seen that has come a long way is the Zebco Bullet. There have been many version of it over the years. I liked the 38 and the 22. The current version cost about $100 and has 9 bearings. It is a far cry from the one I bought in the 80's for $5.
