  1. absolutely i have to do something to keep from going crazy and my season doesn't even open until June 25th
  2. luckily i only have a table of tackle i have not collected enough to need a room yet but i would not be surprised if it happened at some point.
  3. chatterbaits have worked well for me
  4. @no39 what are the measurements on this boat? i wanted to do this but i have a 14'X38" and i doubt its wide enough to be stable
  5. fish bigger baits, use my new fish finder, fish a lot of frogs and most importantly enjoy everyday on the water
  6. i'm lucky in the sense that my home lake is only lmb and smb plus some rock bass which i will be fishing for as soon as the ice melts. when dealing with pike i normally have trouble unhooking them what i have learned it that going through the gill can open the mouth and make life easier but only if you hit the right spot.
  7. my favourite are the dredge brush jigs hard to beat those owner deep throat hooks
  8. can't wait to start frog fishing this year there is so little time for me to fish dang Ontario get your stuff together and open bass before the end of June i have far to many to try
  9. ok thanks for the info that's why i love this site you guys always provide good insight
  10. picked up some more barbarian trebles in #4 and #6 on friday so i spent some time saturday replacing hooks on my strike kings and a couple other baits. also picked up a hollow body sunfish i just think it should be bigger edit: looking at these right now some bigger cranks made locally thinking about picking a couple up. http://www.johnstonlurecompany.com/store/p9/5%22_Battle-Ready_Toothache_Cranks_%28PI-ABS%29.html
  11. i don't see a reason for a silent lipless crank you want it to have the rattle and vibration in the water to attract fish unless the water is gin clear in which case i think you're better to fish a swimjig or a swimbait
  12. 6" bull shad or lc 150 real gill
  13. i second this siebert are quality jigs and the customer service is top notch
  14. i use a black football with the siebert alimony skirt i feel like it provides a nice accent either with a jackall darts hog black & blue with charteruse tip trailer or an uncle josh black & blue craw
  15. went to the Toronto fishing show ended up picking up a few things and one that i knew i couldn't go home without
  16. depends on the water clarity for me i mainly throw natural colours for my lake which would be green pumpkin or bluegill if it is overcast i will throw black and blue if it is a little tough i will switch to shad colours.
  17. white buzzbait bluegill chatterbait black and blue jig medium diving crank frog
  18. last year it was 1) jig 2) crank 3) wacky this year it will be 1) jig 2) chatterbait 3) frog 4) big swimbait 5) medium crank 6) wacky/shakey
  19. i definitely will i was able to find a chartreuse as well as a black
  20. can't really say from a performance standpoint yet since i have only really thrown the sexy dawg and a strike king buzzbait last year but i'm stoked to try out the spro king daddy and the cavirton buzzbaits
  21. i'm sure it will be shown off at the toronto fishing show this weekend
  22. normally start with a moving bait like a buzzbait especially when overcast then slow it down and go to a spook or a popper depending on how active i think they are
  23. i use the 4.5 i will cut it down if i need a smaller trailer
