First Rattle-Trap fish, and second, and third
Yea the lake is about as clear as chocolate milk, so it seems like the fish dont really need too much pigment

First Rattle-Trap fish, and second, and third
I finally found some fish willing to eat a rattle trap. Since I am more of a slow soft plastics man, the thought of throwing something and reeling it back at mach 1 just never made sense to me, but today I had one with me and just tied it on. After throwing it 3 or 4 times I felt it tick off of a stick or stump and BAM, the biggest one crushed it. Even as fast as I was reeling it still managed to almost swallow it. So I kept throwing it and every time it would tick off something, another one would hit it. It just amazes me how they can react that fast to something flying by their heads. Unfortunately there was also a shrinking trend with the fish

So bad for it
I fell on my old mitchell 300 and broke the center shaft in two, other than that I try to be nice to my reels and hope that they are nice back.

How often to you accidently kill a bass??
Unfortunately this year I have killed one. I was fishing a worm when a felt something funny so I set the hook, there were a few tugs then it just felt like dead weight. When I pulled the fish up there was a two pound bass with the hook through its eye and into its brain. I guess that the fish had swam into the line, or had just picked up the tail.

Fish Across America (pictures only!)
South Carolina I dont know but I'll say 4-5 ish. Found two on the beds this morning, a 3lb male and the one in the pic. So I messed with the male untill they both got agitated, then waited till she nosed in on it and snapped it up and she hit it out of reflex. Another one falls to the yum crawdad and new PB for for the year.

Stuck Together
Sit down, Put the rod beneath your legs right behind your knees, grab the rod and move your legs apart. Use your legs to move your arms apart, because they are usually stronger than your arms

Football Jigs
There are some 1/4oz ones on *** and another site.com. And Picasso makes some 1/16, 1/8, and 3/16oz football jigheads, but thats all that I can think of.

Curious, how does it work down south???
Well since the season here lasts year long, I have not noticed any shrinkdown or surplus during different seasons. But yeah they kind of just start moving new products into the older ones places when thay are all gone.

ALLS TARS AT CABELAS
All Star Platinums Browning Midas H&H HX4's H&H Kevlar BPS Extreme A guy in my club let me borrow a Helium while I was fishing with him once. Nice rod light, sensitive, but still dont like the "Power hump" grip style. Also not a fan of the guides or color. G.Loomis- never tried them. I like to keep rods around 150$. Still on the college salary of almost nada

ALLS TARS AT CABELAS
Like Muddy said, I will post another review after a couple months so that I can see the full stregnths and weaknesses, but my first impression is this rod is awesome.

The lures you use...
I agree with Alpster, there is a reason that money is still being won on plastic worms 30 years after they were invented. And as for color, you only need four Green Pumpkin, Watermelonseed, Red Shad, and Junebug. Those four will cover all water clarity issues also.

xbox live
I feel your pain, I got COD4 for christmas, but can just stare at it because my xbox is in my dorm at Coastal

Tying on a Sammy
I think that it is based on personal preference. I like to tie directally to the tie so you can control its action better, but then again thats just me. And I dont use snaps, so no help there, sorry.

ALLS TARS AT CABELAS
Yeah I know that it is hard to find them right now. I went to both BPS and Sportsmans Warehouse and asked about the ASRs, and they were just like "Whats and ASR?" Dont worry www.all-americanoutdoors.com has them and can ship them to you all for the price of one plus tax at cabelas. Cabelas- 99.99 + (4-6 tax) = 103.99 - 105.99 All American- 90.00 + (12-15 shipping) = 102 - 105 The only thing is that I would call them when you place an order and tell them which one it is if you order a rod, as they mainly deal in reels, and dont have a lot of rods on site.

Anyone using P-Line CX Premium Moss Green???
I agree, STAY away from the CXX, it handles about as well as Shakespeare Super Tough. Or for those of you who havent tried either, they have the memory of a slinky.
