curado e series e5 and e7 (2008)*****
Ive ordered 2 rods and some reels from them. They handled everything well and everything arrived on time. I would definately buy from them again.

Well, look what we´ve got here too from Daiwa
Well it must be sensitive enough for Erie smallmouth

New rapalas
I'm still waiting for a good balsa wake bait.

It sounded like a good idea
Sam, I did that on purpose. All the hooks that I use are gammys and x-points. It was just a light wire 1/0 that I rolled in hopes of not hooking the fish while still keeping the worm weedless.

Haha, yeah I think Mike Iaconelli and Jason Quinn(aka Hardware) would be proud ;D

It sounded like a good idea
Well the story is that one of my buddies is coming down to my house in a few days and we were going to go fishing in one of the ponds by my house. Now he doesnt bass fish much and I wanted him to catch some so I went out and "pre-fished" to see if I could find some for him, and knowing that I have to find the fish without actually hooking them I had a problem. So I thought if I rolled a hook into a circle then I could feel the fish bite and still get the worm away from them without hooking them. After making the worm "teaser" rig I go out to find some fish. It wasnt long before I had a bite and after playing a gentle tug of war with the fish for about 30 secnds I decide to pull it away from the fish, who apparently was really enjoying his trick worm dinner because he started pulling back and before I know it he is jumping out of the water and pulling drag. So I reel him in and see that the circle had somehow given the fish a lip ring :-?. I dont know how it happened, but I dont think that we will be catching him later. Dosent really matter, but I thought that I would add that the date is wrong, its supposed to be today

Another Nice One
Again thanks to the glx/metanium combo I got another nice chunk out of one of my ponds. I saw her chasing some bluegill in the lilly pads and cast a 10" junebug worm to the edge of the pads and felt a nice little "tick" which turned into this nice fish. And of course I left the scale because I didnt really plan to go fishing, so I'll say she is around 5-6 pounds \

Elites ditch Florida
And I guess Santee Cooper, Wylie, and Murray are off the short list too

A thing of beauty
Oh that setup is never out of my sight for more than a few minutes, and since my room could outfit a bass pro there are always rods and reels on my bed

A thing of beauty
Well after a little setback with my cars timing belt breaking, oil pan leaking, and water pump going out all at the same time, and not forgetting having my car towed to the shop for a nice 575 bucks on my birthday. I ended up getting a nice little present from my parents, a G.Loomis BCR 853 GLX which fit my Metanium MG perfectally ;D oh Yea and that nice combo helped me catch the biggest yet out of my private stash of ponds My first Loomis and my first Shimano, I have to say that I am quite impressed.

red hooks by mistake
The only difference that I have found is that the hook point tends to roll over more and ruin the hook because whatever they make them out of is softer than regular steel.

Core/Metanium and Carrot/Cumara
Well I have pretty much settled on the cumara but now cannot decide between the 6'8" M or the 6'8" MH. I will mostly be using it for 1/4-3/8oz worms in 5-15 ft of water and want a soft tip with a good solid backbone.

Core/Metanium and Carrot/Cumara
Im trying to get a new texas rig rod/reel and cant decide which to get. Ive been looking at the Core or Metanium MG to be matched with either a Carrot Stix or a Cumara, and since I have never used either I am looking for some help deciding. What I am really looking for would be sensitivity and lightness with the rod and smoothness with the reels

Need a rod for jigs
IMHO I like a 6'8" MH with 15-20lb flurocarbon

Quantum PT for $130 ??

This Got My Attention
Where did you see it?

Best flipping stick around $100
http://www.all-americanoutdoors.com/inc/sdetail/6130 thats for the ASRs, but they also have awesome deals on tons of other rods and reels with free shipping on lots of them

Pflueger Supreme
I have used mine for the past 2 years and it is awesome. My only complaint with it is that it sits high on the reel seat. It casts everything from small rapalas to carolina rigs beautifully for me.

need rod help
I was throwing it sidearm and getting about 75-100 ft with 10lb test. And about the wind, unless you are throwing with it or have extremely good backlash control, you might as well forget using small balsa lures

Pick One Lure
1/2oz jig White-Bedding Brown-Clear Water Black/Blue- Muddy/Stained Water and Rage Tail trailers all round

need rod help
It might not be the rod, but the reel Anyone else that has that Crucial, feel free to jump in, because my experiance is pretty much limited to All Stars Also, I just took the ASR outside and threw a no. 5 shad rap around, and it casts it fine.

need rod help
All Star ASR 6'9" M http://www.all-americanoutdoors.com/inc/sdetail/6130 It says Extra-Fast tip, but for me it seems more of a moderate-fast I use mine for topwaters, crankbaits, and finesse plastics.

robo worms
As with a lot of hand pours you trade durability for better action, but in my opinion it is worth it

What problem do I have with my Pond
I agree with the feeder idea. A small one should be able to handle a 1 acre pond, and with my bluegill experiance, they will get as big as you are willing to feed them. If not I'm in SC also and I can come help catch some of those pesky bass ;D ;D
