  1. Anyone ever used any of these? I ran across a clearance sale at a nearby mom and pop shop bought 20 packs for $1 apiece. Haven't gotten to try them out yet.
  2. Hate to hear that but luckily I only bought one pack to try out unlike the 4or 5 packs I usually buy when trying something out . You know just in case it's the best lure ever and I want to make sure I have extra. Thanks
  3. Ok so I bought a pack of these awhile back and misplaced them until recently. I had forgotten thick these things appear to be. So what hook are you guys using for the best swimming action / hookup ratio ?
  4. I have tried various backpacks over the last 2 years, the first being the academy pack which is ok other than the velcro in the upper compartment( it can hold a lot of gear and get heavy quick) the next was a browning pack from bps (the blue one) which I like better than the academy brand it's currently my co angler boat bag. The next is the Abu sling pack which works good for bank fishing requiring less gear. I then bought the spider wire sling pack which I like better for my bank fishing and pond hopping it just feels better made to me. I also have an orvis sling pack for my fly gear which would make a good bank bag as well but is more expensive than the others
  5. I'm a DT fan and I also catch a lot on bandits. I bought a few of the new Berkleys but I haven't been very impressed yet, but I haven't given up yet

There are a lot of companies that just put their name on someone's else's product. BPS, Browning to name two off the top of my head. I have a gloomis fly reel. But I know gloomis didn't make it
  7. Watermelon red is the most consistent fish catching color for me on river systems but it's a toss up on most of the lakes I fish
  8. Try the bps tourney specials as well not a bad rod for $60
  9. I'm a pline fan but I do like yozuri as well. For the money stren original or super knot is pretty good stuff. I don't not recommend trilene of any type, always given me the most memory problems
  10. Although I haven't fished a worm in a few years when I didn't it was red shad, green shad, tequila sunrise.

Picasso makes a good bait. Pure poison are ok
  12. When shaky heading my first choice is always a finese worm with chartreuse tip or one of the bold bluegill or witches t roboworm colors. All have chart in them
  13. Chartreuse perch, and the real shad color are my favorites. I repainted every sexy shad colored bait I had 2 years ago due to horrible catch rates so I can't recommend it
  14. go fenwick, avoid anything abu. I have had multiple vendetta rods break with no explanation. The last warranty replacement rod i got I gave away. The veritas rods were not as bad but sold everything abu i had due to poor performance.
  15. Zoom big critter craw then a chigger craw and I've been trying out some of the bruiser craws with some success
  16. white then arkansas shiner for me
  17. I'll have to try the glass container. The one time I bought mend it, it dried in the plastic container before I ever used it
  18. 3" weightless senkos and rebel crickethoppers, also swimn fluke jrs. Gy shad shaped works weightless. I've always had luck with a cricket type bait in ponds weather it be fly fishing or conventional tackle.
  19. Good to hear. I picked up 2 packs of them awhile back but haven't had the chance to try them out
  20. I reserve red cranks for early spring and stained water, usually throw a shad pattern the rest of the time. That being said I really have a hard time making myself use firetiger colored baits but people catch fish on them every day so what do I know
  21. If u can pick him up an omega much better spincast reel and cxx works fine on it
  22. Fishingskirts.com was carrying the boss silicone umbrella rig mold and wire harnesses use resin to pour the head so no lead weight

    spike it makes an orange.
  24. I have used them and they catch fish. I would recommend using braid with them, really increased my hookup percentage
  25. I've used 3" senkos nose hooked weightless fished like a jerkbait for awhile now as a last resort and catch a lot of fish that way even when they won't hit a fluke fished the same way
