Abu revo, shimano caenan, daiwa tatula ct/feugo ct
In my opinion the tatula ct is the best reel for the money in general. They are work horse reels that perform above their price point. If you can pick one up for >$100 then to me it's a no brainer. I love my shimano reels I have at a higher price point but the caenan doesn't come close to the tatula. I close competitor to the tatula from shimano is the citica or if you can find a jdm casitas mgl for about $130 then those are a great reel as well

Finesse Fishing
Amazing reel. I've fished it since shimano released it at icast and I've been nothing but impressed with it. Paired it with a loomis 822syr imx. It's their shakes head rod but has the same specs as their drop shot rod. Spoiled with 15lb power pro to a 8lb fluoro leader you can feel everything. Go get one!!!!

New daiwa tatula sv tw
Anybody had the chance to look at the new daiwa tatula sv tw? To me looks like they put the sv spool in a tatula. So for about $80 cheaper than a zillion sv you essentially get the same reel just a little heavier imo? This is based on speculation because I've not yet handled one but I'm very excited to get my hands on one being I think the tatula is one of the most unappreciated reels on the market.

First Trip to Lake of The Ozarks
We caught some decent fish on Sunday. Our bite seemed to quit around 10 and the wind seemed almost impossible to escape. Overall was a good trip. I posted a picture of our two best fish over in the KC area guys thread

Shimano Chronarch CI4+
It's slightly smaller than the curado being it's a 150 size reel and the curado I is a 200. The Ci4+ is the shimano carbon graphite composite frame material which is lighter than aluminum while still retaining the rigidity shimano is known for. The spool is different. The knobs on the handle have ball bearings. The overall look of the reel closely resembles the core which the discontinued and my guess is that shimano wanted to provide a reel that performed at the level of a core at a lower price point. I've fished the chronarch Ci4+ for about a year now and it's a fantastic reel Move topic to Fishing rods, reels, line, and knots

First Trip to Lake of The Ozarks
So I'm going down to the ozarks Sunday and I've never been there before. Putting in at gravois mills and fishing that area. Thinking mainly sticking to the jerk bait and jig bite. How is the lake fishing right now? Any advice is much appreciated

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
I was feeling it in my Simms suit. He's my wife's cousin and he insisted on going and then he had a time with the fluoro line on the spinning reel I had for him and then he got his glove caught in the hooks. So we had a short day on the water because I didn't get to do much fishing.

Nice one. I'm the guy that was in the white and navy blue triton. I got a little cold and impatient with a new angler in the boat and called it quits after an hour and a half.

That's what I tried to tell them and I told them many other places up in the river that would have been a whole lot better. I'm like you and didn't think they could hunt there either. I had half a mind to call the game warden on them after they threatened to knowingly shoot at us if birds came from our direction. It's people like this that give hunters a bad reputation.

I tried to be nice to some duck hunters and grab some runaway decoys for them and then they yelled at me because apparently I was messing up their hunt. I think setting up right at the end of the point where the wall that runs along the warm water was a poor choice in hunting spot if they were worried about fishermen ruining their hunt. I understand it's public lake but they set up 75 yards away from the most popular spot on the lake to fish right now and we're complaining that there were fishermen there.

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Went to Lacygne today until about 1. Caught some whites and wipers at the warm water and then went looking for largemouth. Had three of us in the boat and we each caught one largie. Mine was definitely one of the fattest fish I've ever caught. Went just barely over 7. Great day to be on the water

There's a solid wart/Rock Crawler bite going on. Gravel chunk rock transitions and mixed gravel/chunk points are key.

Shimano Stradic Ci4+
I have the new Ci4+ 2500 and can't say a bad thing about it. I've fished a lot of spinning reels in it's price range and for me it takes the cake. That being said I usually spend quite a bit more on a rod than I do a reel because any reel in that $100+ range will get the fish in the boat but you have to feel the bite to set the hook. The NASCI from shimano is an amazing reel at its price and would leave you a little extra to splurge on a nicer rod. (Also your line is a key part in sensitivity as well. It's your "life line" to you and what's on the other end.)
