  1. Definatley soft plastic worms. I sorta have my own technique or I'm making it up as I go but I love fishing worms.
  2. I can't imagine fishing a 16" worm. I only use 3-4". Mostly 3 and I catch a lot of big ones. I don't think the key to catching a big bass is the size but how you use it :-? . I believe that the smaller worms are better because the big bass still go for them and they can take the whole thing in at once, and you don't get any of those missed hits from the bass biting the end of it. This whole paragrah sounds extremely sexual.
  3. Although it is an extremely warm winter at this point here in Canada, it is to cold and in some spots to icey to fish. I don't ice fish so right now I feel like a dog in a tiny cage going crazy to get out. I haven't fish in a couple months and my patience has almost warn out. I can't wait for summer so I can get out fishing again but what do some of you guys that are in the same position as me do to keep that fishing drive satisfied.
  4. Same thing happened to my Dad's protege. It makes a clunking noice when he turns. It isn't a safety issue thats just a myth. But it will take away from some of the cars performance, mostly turning ability.
  5. Corona is good but theres better. It takes me probably 4 Canadian to feel her, drunk probably 6-8 depending on the night. American with less alcohol probably 6 to fell her and 10 to get drunk.
  6. I was fishing musky so I had 80lbs test superbraid on. I caught it on a foot long crankbait. I had a good laugh over senile 1's story by the way, very creative!
  7. I was fishing from shore when I heard this big splash about 30 feet down the bank. All of a sudden I feel this huge weight on the end of my line so I start wheeling in. It felt like a really really big log. Then I can see what looks like a deer coming up from under the water. I almost shot myself when I realized I had a deer on the end of my line. It was a full grown female and It had swallowed my foot long. I also hunt deer so I thought why not so I started beating the ptooey out of this thing till I managed to kill it with by smashing it's head with a rock. I'll tell ya what, it was the tastiest thing I've ever caught.

There's no better music then reggae, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh. Indien music is cool to. I don't consider this new punk and screaming crap to be music.
  9. I'm from Canada, and we can deffinatley hear all the different American accents. The only ones inside the country we have here is just a regular accent I guess, then newfoundlanders and have there own accent, french, and some farmers have a bit of a country accent, and then I guess the accents from all the immagrants, which I guess would be more then non-immagrants. Do Americans think we have accents?
  10. Is it true that American beer actually has less alcohol in it then Canadian beer? And also, how many beers can you usually take before your drunk? Weird question probably but you only live once.
  11. You can't beat Canadian beer if you ask me! And that's not molson canadian but all Canadian beer in general. I also like corona, and Czech beer.
  12. I live near this stalked pond, about 5 acres in size. I'm building some shelter in one corner of the pond and feeding the bass worms, before you know it I'll be pullin out the biggest fish in the pond.
  13. It reminds me of one of my Grandpa's fishing trips. There was a guy at this place that sold frogs and worms, he would tell you what was working each day, the frogs or the worms. My Grandpa went with his advise and had success both days he was there, this other group that was there didn't follow his advice and came back empty handed. So maybe you were fishing worms when it was a frog day if you know what I mean.
  14. There is no way of us telling whether a fish has a conscience or thought process. There are things that make me believe they do that people just say are conditioning, but there's no way to really tell.
  15. Smallies are my bass of choice. I find there way more aggressive and fun to catch. The things that your going to want to know about them is that they are deep and usually perfer somewhat colder temps then LM. I tend to have the best success with them using jigs, but they can be caught on a variety of different things.
  16. I fish small ponds and rivers probably about equally I do catch more fish in the ponds. I have to say I'm surprised that small ponds are in the lead.
  17. I find that smallmouth are always aggressive fish around here. They just keep hitting my bait over and over until I hook em'!
  18. Why is everyone so concernced about releasing the big bass. The big bass aren't born big they are at one point small so shouldn't it be equally as important to be releasing the small ones?
  19. Good question, what is this world coming to? Cocaine might make there reaction time faster but I guarantee it will cause them to make a lot more stupid mistakes that would cost them any titles. I definatley think testing fisherman is retarted.
  20. Good point. Even when I wasn't fishing worms all the time I still caught all my big bass on them so know that is all I use. The more work you do before you head out the better chance you have!
  21. Excellent advice! I have a perfect example of that. Me and my buddies were fishing in this really good pike and smallie area. A good bass around here is around 4 pounds. All of a sudden this 8 pound smallie launches out of the water with my buddies lure in its mouth. It turns out he didn't tie a very good knot and he ended losing the bass and his favourite lure.
  22. My favourite all season bait is some cheap, bright, short, wal-mart worms.
  23. What would everyone's dream fishing scenario be. Personally mine would be out in the middle of the woods fishing a small bass pond.
  24. First of all you need to keep moving, when bass travel in schools and you catch one of them, once you release it back into the water it normally spooks the other bass away. So keep moving!
