Im just not clear on what Lews does. From what ive read here on this forum is that they just re brand reels but in reviews like the one ive read on ***, they write that their Pro Ti was a reel to show off what they can do in design. so that has made me a little unclear in how much input besides cosmetics they have. what about Lews rods? who makes or designs them?

I catch snake heads. In my area there are many to be caught. They are here to stay no matter anyone can do. Am I worried about the effects of them relating to the bass population? Yes I do. Most of my friends that catch them advocate for catch and release saying they don't do harm to the population of bass. I take their words with a grain of salt because they don't really know what's gong to Happen 25 years down the line and They just love catching them. I don't blame them. The bass fishing here in my area is what it is, which is not Good. Catching a 8+ lbs snake head is one of the few chances of me knowing how a trophy bass fights like. I'm glad they are here but I do worry about them taking over but what is done is done and there is no going back.

Im too cheap to buy a go pro so i when i bank fish i rest my camera down near me and record some bank fishing at FDR. its not the greatest video but its better than nothing! was using a top toad. i love them but they tear so easy that i might go use something else. Well I bank fish fdr park which is near the stadiums. Public transportation is not bad for that park. I live a block away so let me know when you're going there and see if I can get you on some snake heads or bass.

I mean I can point you in some spots but you would need your own gear. Daiwa has travel rods that are good.

dicks or any sporting goods should carry them. maybe even walmart. you can even treat your dog with it.

spray it on clothes. its very effective against ticks.

that just makes it more fun!

Ive thought about gluing some velcro on a frog. looks like the same material to me.

i rarely fish it. its a real pain of a 1 hour drive for me to get there. but......... cant complain about it that much when you can catch these in it once in a while.

April 15 Marsh creek reservoir. Windier than I expected. Having pedals made it barely manageable to get into position. Sun popped out for a few hours and I was targeting stumps and brush with a white chatter bait. Saw one juicy stump and I told my friend before the cast they gotta be holding close to cover. Tossed it right to it and the next second this 3 lbs 15 Oz beauty hammered it.

I fish a lot on standing on my kayak so i Id rather get those float attachments.

Maybe that was one of the reasons why MLF didnt invite Scott Martin to join them at that time.

ive caught nice bass on those burner spinner baits including my pb. one of those times i was reeling it in as fast as i could. sometimes fishing a spinner bait too slow ive noticed that the fish take a real good look at it then not strike.

I fished and won with out a fish finder and it was my first time fishing this body of water. Im sure it can help but sometimes you waste too much time staring and deciphering stuff rather than fishing.

@Junger those rules are never enforced there and at times can produce 6lbers+.

thing i dont get is why people say that a glass rod is needed for a chatterbait but i dont hear that said for a spinnerbait. i know theyre not the same but theyre both basically a open hook bait, right?

decent craws their arms move nicely when in motion. kinda expensive though.
