  2. America! f* yeah! I don't get the whole idea of watching people riding bikes. Well, I don't get the idea of watching people drive cars either for that matter. I guess I just don't like events that involve machines intended for transportation purposes.
  3. micro, how does the size of the jackall compare to a mann's -1?
  4. hmmm, I could have sworn I heard the Viento was on the canceled list. Still, I would have liked to see some more stuff from Daiwa.
  5. yeah, I was expecting some new stuff to replace the recently discontinued reels. It doesn't look like the Sol is going anywhere, at least not yet. It's still listed on Daiwa's newly updated website. So is the Viento. The Fuego is gone. but they HAVE discontinued the Fuego, Viento, and Zillion Anniversary Edition, correct?
  6. I like the smell of Powerbait
  7. Glenn, can you tell me anything about the rod on the right?
  8. I have this exact rod except mine says Small Swimbait Special but the exact same specs. I have been fishing plastics, tubes, small jigs, and small spinnerbaits and love it. Isn't the small swimbait special 7'3"?
  9. yeah, I was expecting some new stuff to replace the recently discontinued reels.
  10. ahh, the silly design makes sense then.
  11. yeah, that is a pretty unique design but I can't see how you would get a good hookset with that plastic shield in the way
  12. the Reaction rods are the new ones that are meant for moving baits. They have softer tips than the traditional Cumaras which have pretty fast actions because they are meant for bottom baits.
  13. The 5" TT looks about the same size as the 4" Spro.
  14. what about the Spro BBZ 6"?

I want a Tacoma so bad.
  16. maybe a three person trip???
  17. I don't see what the big deal is. If you want to try something, try it. If you value some members' opinions then listen to them--if you don't, then don't listen to them...No need to get all up in arms about my stuff vs. your stuff or "x" brand vs. "y" brand. I have a few guys that I listen to based on the fact that they tend to like similar gear as I do--other members I ignore because I know they value different things in tackle than I do. If someone constantly recommends "x" brand then who cares, maybe that brand is the best at satisfying THEIR tackle requirements. Although I do think fourbizz is onto something with the "inferiority" and "superiority" complexes.
  18. I hope those Eeliminators work as good as they look. That's great news about the price as well.
  19. way to go Mrs. Micro! very nice pics. The same thing happened in my backyard last year. We have a very popular bird feeder in the corner of the yard and a local hawk realized it was a good place to find distracted prey.
  20. if you don't find a ride, I should be fishing somewhere in the area from the bank at sometime next week. I'll let you know when I make plans.
  21. I haven't found any legal night fishing spots in the area other than Burke. There might be some but I don't know for sure.
  22. The only knock I have on my limited Slammer experience is that after the first day the paint started to come off. I didn't even catch any fish on it that day. It happened at the rear of the bait where the pins stick though the tail. The second time I fished it I caught 5 fish in one outing and it got chipped near the joints. I really don't care if the paint comes off but if the wood is exposed then I start to worry about the wood soaking up water.
  23. I don't see anything in that link about a 50/51?
