  1. I like Spro Bronzeye frogs for hollow bodies and Rage Toads for buzzfrogs.
  2. I'll bet he loses a lot of fish because they don't have enough time to take the hook. There's no "give" in that system. Seems like it would be easier to hook and land fish by casting a buzzbait...
  3. I used to. Haven't as much lately. I fished it farther east than you.
  4. Wow, there are white perch in Huntsman too?!?!
  5. I highly doubt they are spots. That'd be an awfully strange and random location to have stocked spots. I used to fish there when I was at JMU. I also fished the lake on campus and a few spots on the river.
  6. I chose Invizx because when I bought it I assumed Abrazx must have a bigger diameter. That is not the case. Apparently they have equal diameter. I am going to try Abrazx next.
  7. Why do you think they're spots?
  8. Used to. Sucks balls.
  9. If you gave me a choice of when to fish the river in the summer I would choose low tide. It's generally easier to find fish because they don't have as many places to go. That matted grass is dynamite for bass and snakeheads throughout the summer. Throw hollow bodied frogs over top of it.
  10. I've had fallfish hit topwater walk-the-dog baits, flukes, etc...
  11. sucker or "fallfish" for sure
  12. Thats cause they ARE. I have a Storm Big Bass Square, and just yesterday at Dicks they had Cranking Raps out already........side by side, if they are not they same, the differences are so subtle I can't find them. and they're both owned by the same company, correct? I don't get it...
  13. I was guilty of this as well. ;D AFAIK, isn't it illegal to tell anyone other than the lunch lady that a person receives free lunch? Privacy thing, last time I heard. Exactly! I would like to know whether RECEIVING a free lunch is illegal. It says SHARING a free lunch is illegal, yet they arrested the person who received the food. How do they even know that he was aware he was receiving a free lunch? And now the school gave away private information regarding a student's participation in a social program....

    Wow Jay, just wow.
  15. This is why my first boat will be one that goes no more than 55mph. Any faster than that and I'm scared....I already pee a little at that speed.

I work at Dick's Sporting Goods. We just sold a Tippman Custom 98 AND an A-5 for $90 total. They were display models but in full working order. Anyway, I played a few times. I liked the big outdoor courses with forts and what not. The field stuff with blow up barricades and crap never really seemed all that fun to me.
  17. they look a lot like the Storm Big Bass cranks
  18. Thanks guys. I am so glad I was able to visit with him. I had no idea he had become so sick. He had been fighting cancer the entire time I knew him so I kinda knew what was coming but I never thought it was going to happen so soon. Last month we were out fishing and then yesterday he was barely able to speak or keep his eyes open. I think that has been the hardest part.
  19. Carl died early this morning. Thankfully I was able to go visit him yesterday. Apparently he was calm and his death was pain free. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys.
  20. another thing: If the laptop is for school you don't want it to be too big. Large screens are heavy and bulky. On the other hand, you also don't want it to be too small because you want to have enough keyboard room to comfortably write for long periods of time. I have a 14.1" screen and I think it would be perfect for a school laptop but some prefer larger 15.6" screens. I think either would be good choices.

  22. Yeah, it's like a natural seasoning.
  23. mmm, that sounds delicious.
  24. update: My friend Carl had been going through some more chemo. The most recent round took a heavy toll on his health. The post-chemo PET scan showed a decrease in the tumors but he is suffering from an infection as a result of his weakened immune system. He was in the hospital last week and was doing better but came home and has been deteriorating over the past couple days. It would mean a lot to have some more thoughts and prayers for Carl and his wife Lydia, they really need it now. Thanks.
