  1. Just keep enticing me with all this new stuff and you'll have them coming out of your REAR!!!
  2. Sometime in October. Was fabulous going up to my pond in KY this weekend and walking around on it. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
  3. I'd be all over that if I could find one. I saw Burley's post about that rod and that thing is SWEET!!! What local shop was it that he got it from? Could I call in an order and have it shipped to me? It is M&M Sporting Goods in Kingsport, TN. I don't believe they have a website but you should be able to buy and get one shipped over the phone.
  4. Burley picked a new Cumara at one of our local shops last week for I believe it was $159, that is their regular price, and they have everything 10% off right nowl.
  5. Burley is the worst thing to happen to me in my fishing. I got by fine and caught plenty of fish with my ol' walmart combos then we went fishing together one time. It turned him onto bass fishing and since he just keeps throwin that monkey at me, all he is is a d**n enabler. Got me buyin a new Curado 201DPV today, and now looks as if I am gonna have to get at least one of those Cumara's now.
  6. It would be nearly as much fun as riding home with you from Atlanta after I kicked your *** all over 800 acres of GA high quality H2O.
  7. Here's another, Burley and I lived up to our club moniker DinkmastersTM.
  8. Thanks for the great info Shadcranker. Found out last night we are definitely gonna be there on March 7th and 8th.
  9. I never did consider it for spinning gear, for me 6-8 lb vanish is all I use on my spinners, save for night fishing and then I use Spiderwire EZ flourescent.
  10. I don't get out much in the cold so I don't know how it works in cold weather but otherwise I tried it this summer and fell in love with it. I found it to be everything they adverised it to be. I use 17lb on my Tierra it is very sensitive and very strong and casts easily.
  11. Well I hate to say it will be setting around waiting to get used. The last time we tried to hit the water 2 weeks ago everything was froze and now for his next weekend off we got 4 inches of snow last night. All you have done is bad mouth and put down FoolGear for the past 2 years we been fishin together and now you go and do this. What happened to going with a Stradic or Stella?
  12. Thanks I'll check it out.
  13. I wasn't that concerned about it myself, I don't see them making any more wake or causing any more problems than a big houseboat moving along at 20 MPH on a regular wide open lake. And RoadWarrior what kind of advice can you give to help us win or have a good shot at winning.
  14. All I have to say is Burley (FireMarshallBurley) is my fishing partner.
  15. Burley and I are thinking of heading down this spring. Our club has its first tourny there in early March and it is only about a 4-5 hour dirve and even better I have kin only 30 minutes away we can go and stay with. Anyway my question is that I have a BassTracker Pro 17 and he has a 16.5 Glassport and we are concerned about using either of these on the lake with the wake the barge traffic makes.
  16. I do like them. They are made well and have a good feel and action to them. It is true you get what you pay for, but with these you are getting a little more than you pay for. I broke on of mine during a tournament, was changing rods and it was in the dark of a night tourny and I grabbed it to close to the tip and of course snap. It had nothing to do with the quality of the rod same would have happened with any of my other $150 rods, but I bet that if it happened to any of the other rods I wouldn't have gotten a replacement in 3-4 days. I called told them I had broken one they verifyed my address and sent a new one no questions asked, didn't even charge me any extra shipping and I didn't have to send the old back first or at all. I highly recommend these for a quality economy based rod for the person wanting a $100 rod but not wanting to or unable to pay $100 for a rod.
  17. TheBeast replied to Evan Pease's topic in Fishing Reports
If you do head that way let me know I will get mine as well.
  18. We had a tourny there last year first weekend of March and crankbaits ruled the day, discontinued Bill Dance Fat Free shad was the winner.
  19. Got to reccomend heading to Georgia, just north of ATL with Randall and hitting Varner. Just check out my avitar.
  20. HA! Once the lakes up so that you can launch bigger boats we need to meet up there. Right now my grandpa's bass hound is about the only thing that will go in. About the secret spot, I catch almost all of my good ones in about a 200 yard radius. I found a new spot that Ive been getting HUGE hits in so maybe Ill get a new PB soon. Sounds good. Ihaven't been up there since back in June/July but am definitely gonna get my permit this year and give it another go, I haven't been out on it in a boat in about 7-8 years.
  21. LG AX/VX8600 takes very good photos. Uses microSD cards for storage.
  22. I'm going to have to kidnap you and steal your secret spots secrets.
  23. I consider anything Burley catches a dink.
  24. Let me know if you do decide to sell that boat in the spring, I may have recovered from the new house by that time.
