  1. If you have the extra money to purchase the Ci4+, by all means, get it. That reel will last you years. On another note, plus one here for getting a crankbait rod.
  2. Interesting theory.
  3. Next poll: How many times have you been skunked this year?
  4. I understand that, that's essentially the same reason why I don't fish tournaments.
  5. I understand that. Personally I enjoy keeping track. It gives me a goal and motivates me to catch more fish than the year before.
  6. I've been fishing for a couple of years now and I can say that not once have I used live bait. I don't have a problem with it, I just prefer the challenge of using artificial. To each their own I suppose.
  7. It only let me allow 20 replies. I changed the poll to bass only in hopes to get a more accurate poll.
  8. Before I construct my own, I was curious as to if anyone had an excel spreadsheet they used to track fishing trips and catches throughout the year.
  9. How many fish have you caught this year? Any size, bass species only. Lets see the numbers.
  10. Either one would suffice just fine.
  11. I've got a revo stx spinning reel on a medium Rod for some of my finesse fishing. I've had it about. Year now and so far I have had zero issues with it. The drag seems to be consistent and is still smooth as butter. I thoroughly enjoy fishing it.
  12. Must be the big silver circle on the bottom. sorry, had to.
  13. I agree, the sunfish really walks alot easier for me. I do wish they would have put a little more effort into hiding the plain, silver, exposed balancing weight that sits on the bottom of the lure.
  14. Anyone wanna hook me up (Pun intended) with a 10 off 25 coupon? Feel free to PM me.
  15. Wow, that is some phenomenal customer service. Glad to hear they took care of you.
  16. I can see where that would work. I have always preferred a fast action tip for anything with a single hook. I usually end up using my shakey head rod
  17. Following. Best of luck to you sir. Keep us posted.
  18. I have a 7'0 that I use for texas rigs. The veritas line certainly run pretty stiff. I would say that rod definitely has the backbone for frogs and cover. I see no reason why it wouldn't serve the purpose.
  19. I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade, but I bought one of the 300 series reels, had it for about a week...and sold it because I wasn't super impressed. I believe that there are much better options in that $130 price range.
  20. I've received a couple different Livingston Lures via MTB and LTB. Let me start by saying that there is no way I would pay the $11-$15 in store asking price. With that being said, I do like the lures and they have been quality thus far. Does the electronic bait fish sounds the lures emit increase the chances of catching a fish? I doubt it, but its a nice touch. You've also got to ask yourself, how many lures in your tackle box really cost more than a $1 to make?
  21. NetBait Paca Craw is worth noting. Couldn't agree more.
