The NFL and the Steelers have apologized. The NFL has said the only way the National Anthem will not be played at another NFL game is if the game is cancelled.... They made a mistake, a big one in my opinion. But, they have admitted it, and doing something about it.. what more can you ask?

This year is the perfect example of why we need a playoff system for the top 8 or 10 teams. No one is undefeated, except Hawaii, and no one takes them seriously.. Now they are saying LSU and Ohio St. will play the Championship game... hmmmmmmmmmmm not sure I would agree with a computer..

Bean Counter, Tribble Mill, Stone Mtn and Fort Yargo are all still fishable and boat usable.. almost all of the state parks, and even the lakes at Charlie Elliott are open, but they do not produce the fish that Varner or some of the other lakes do. Bear Creek according to DNR is a complete loss.

Well, you could be like us here in Georgia.. Great weather,, water is so low everywhere, you can not even launch a boat... 90% of the lakes are closed right now because of lack of water... most of them are so bad, they may have to restock em after the water comes back up, IF it does.

Well guys, have not posted in awhile, but have been reading and praying for all. My doc put me on Effexor for my panic attacks. However, he upped my dose to quickly and it made things worse. So he had me go back to a lighter dose. This stuff really makes you feel strange. I only hope it works. I am also going in for a CT scan of my left chest and abdomen, tomorrow. I have been having pain in my ribs on that side for almost a year now, and finally got sick of it, doc thinks it is maybe my gall bladder or maybe a soft tissue problem between my ribs. What ever it is, I know that I want it fixed, lol... tired of it. Kind of like a tooth ache that finally gets bad enough you go to the dentist. All this is minor in the big scope of things. I found out over Thanksgiving my sisters cancer is back, it is in her pelvic bones. Doc gives her 6 months, probably less. They also found a new tumor in her neck. I will get to see her at Christmas if she makes it that long. I ask that you all pray for her. She is going to need it in the coming months. I pray that all of you are well and doing good. John

Fort Yargo is still open, as is Tribble Mill. Oh, and those of us salivating about Bear Creek getting a boat ramp, so it could be fished... Well, the lake is almost gone. DNR says they will have to start over and restock once the lake fills back up. :'( :'( :'(

Be very careful about loading music CDs to your computer. I know for sure 1 Montgomery Gentry CD has a virus that will attach itself to your computer, and renders your players unusable. It has a big X on the back of the CD and a warning. I am sure others have done it as well. Most are safe, but look at the back cover before popping it into your CD Drive.

I have a 100 qt. cooler that I cut down like Fluke showed in his birth of a bass boat post... The only reason I cut it down is so that it is the same level as the rest of the deck. I have never had a problem with keeping bass alive in it.

Since I work in the Cell phone accessory business, there is now a pouch out that is waterproof, and you can use your phone thru it... it runs about 25.00, retail. There is one for flip phones and one for candy bar style phones. I keep my digital camera in a double ziplock baggy, but my cell phone goes in one of these. I am back from elk hunting guys.... had a great trip, we got two bulls, gonna be eating elk steaks and sausage this winter , pics to come soon. Just had to announce myself, let you know i was backk.

Thanks Muddy, it has been a long time coming... and I have not seen my brother or mom since last Christmas. So, I am really looking forward to this. This is my therapy, for stress, or anything else that is bothering me... My wife on the other hand can not take off and has to stay home.
