Handgun Law Question
LEOs are given more relaxed rules for carrying. I recently had a LEO friend tell me that the policy will typically keep you out of jail but not out of court (for LEO carrying out of state).

Anybody have a Hi-Point .380?
Had a HP 9mm and couldnt get that thing to fire more that two consecutive shots. Disassembled many times, cleaned, lubed, tried different mags. They are ugly and heavy. I will say that they are accurate (if you can get it to fire). There are much better options if you save up some nickels. Perhaps consider purchasing a used pistol.

Codorus Lake/ Lake Marburg Questions
It's big, clear, deep and weedy. I fished there about a month and a half ago. I like to consider myself a pretty decent fisherman. I caught nothing from first light until after noon. Among 4 people fishing in two different boats, one fish was caught. Difficult, to say the least.

Dove Hunting
It's hard to get excited when you live in a state that considers them the birds of peace, love, and all things good in life. They've been sitting on the telephone lines across the road all summer. When should I go out and scare them to south for you? I look at them that way too. Then I realize how delicious they are and I squeeze the trigger three times.

Do I really need a big reel for small swimbaits?
Depends on what you are throwing. For lipless floaters (Mattlures Hardgill, 3:16 Freestyle Shad and Herring) and Randall's slow sinking High Power Herring, I prefer the Curado 301 for the faster retrieve speed. They can be had for around 200, most of the time under that amount. I really, really like to burn the baits mentioned and seem to get most of my strikes this way. Honestly, with a fast reel, you can slow down to a crawl. It's tough to match going the other way, wishing you could crank it faster than you will be able to with a slower reel.

Census-How many of you use Megastrike Fishing Products-WHY /WHY NOT
The stats are the reason I don't feel the need to switch to Megastrike! No I would not consider the "products" if a 1/2 oz buzz was offered, I would only consider the buzz only. The buzzbait (if it were made) is a PRODUCT. Made by Megastrike. By asking for feedback as to what people want and/or what might make people try Megastrike product(s), he is looking to potentially provide those things. What part of this are you not grasping? ;) ;) ;) ;)

Right over your head... Feedback is what the man needed, not your stats. You gave feedback. You would consider the products if a 1/2oz buzzbait were offered. Get it now? :) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Yeah? Try living here. ;D The people who visit during the summer are not-so-affectionately known as "bullet diggers." ;D

Was that so hard? That is the original intent of the thread and it echoes what others have said. Nowhere before this post did you give any criteria that you may try the product, only alluding to the fact that you WOULDN'T try the products. Mission accomplished.

Yeah man, I get it. You have some of the best numbers, I see that. You win. I am just curious as to why add all those products while writing off the Megastrike products without trying them? You have gone out of your way to demonstrate that you are not closed-minded, so I can only surmise that you have some specific reason to not try the products?

Do I really need a big reel for small swimbaits?
The Shimano Cardiff 300 is the best swimbait reel for the price. Ask Fourbizz or Don M

You mean this? I don't read it that way at all. I take it as refering to all products. I think the next post in the thread clears that up for you. Strange to hear you so against change when two years ago you were singing the praises of Gene Larew products exclusively and now its Team Ragetail too. If you never tried a Rage product, you would not know how much you like or dislike them. All he is saying is how do you know until you try? You don't.

Anyone use a muskie rod for big bass baits?
It has some flex to it with baits in the 2-3oz range, but it is not nearly as slow as a crankbait rod. The 7'6"H is regarded as a good all-around rod. The MH tops out at 3oz, that may have a more attractive action for you.

You're the one who said he was unwilling to try different things because what you do works. Take your own advice. Just sayin...

Targeting dinks
Because when rigged appropriately, a wacky rig will be weedless. I agree with you on the rooster tails and exposed treble lures. I'll add throwing horny toads to you list of fish catchers in those situations.

Dove Hunting
Oh hell yeah. New shotgun came in on Friday last week. Doves will be a good warm-up for geese and ducks in the coming months. I look forward to 9/1 every year.

Hey Catt, he's got a point there. If you do what you've always done, maybe you'll never know your potential. There is a new one for you to quote.
