We still have quite a while yet. Water temps are barely in the 40's here and with nights getting down to freezing temps, it will be a slow process. Beginning of May is a good guess. Look for 55-60 before seeing any consistent bedding.

Keith, from the pics I have seen and what I have read, apparently the car hit the pole sideways and was basically cut in half where you see it....right through where people would normally be sitting. Cant imagine that it was a pretty site...

I use a Revo S on mine as well. Strong drag is a big plus with this technique. I would steer away from the Accurist, unless they have improved them considerably. I had two of the gold ones w/ a flipping switch and the guts of the reel did not hold up well for me. Returned both of them.

Zel (member here) has said that the sound emitted by a rattle trap and the sounds made by the Biosonix machine are amazing similar. Maybe it brings fish in, turns inactive fish on or a little of both. For a lure to have stood the test of time like it has, there has to be a little "magic" to it.
