That sucks Mike, I am sure we can get you hooked up with a ride In response to KU Bassmasters post in another area of the forum, I do not currently have a decent PFD. Does anyone attending the trip have an extra they could loan to me?

What kind of hair do you have?
Yep. Same here. The hair on my head looks like a Bassaholics hat 99% of the time.

Shipping Charge from China
This has to do with shipping baits, so I figured this was the right section. Does anyone have any experience with the shipping costs from China to the US? I know some of you JDM guys out there have experience with that country and I didnt know what kind of charges I would be looking at. What more info is needed for an answer, just let me know. Thanks, Wayne

Springfield XD 40- any experience?
Somewhat off topic, but relative to Flechero's post... I was at Gander Mountain the other day and saw the Kydex holsters for these, almost 100% sure. Let me know if you are having trouble with the holster and I can verify that for you. Wayne

When we get there, I hope its about 70 degrees air temp and 60-65 water temp. I hear big Alabama girls like it warm.... Muddy, ya know I gotta sample the goods 8-)

Never hit the water
Thats funny!! I did the same thing with the french fries and lizards. I thought to myself "Those would be great on a Crig" and then I never rig anything but a trick worm or fluke. Oh well, guess that reminds me to pull them out again and give them a whirl. Wayne

The bait monkey lives!- Sexy Shad swimbaits!!!!
Sexy trout pattern, perhaps? A few added oz of weight? LOL

sunfish swimbait
Come on now ebby, are you worried about the price or the size (oz.) of the lure? You are confusing me.... Even the 4" weighs over an ounce, which from what you said is too heavy for your equipment. Get the Mattlures and be a happy, happy man

Powerbait Hollow Belly
The Reaction Strike Fatheads smell the same way. I'm with ya on the megastrike for odor control.

sunfish swimbait
Ebby, I thought like you are for a very long time....up until recently when I had it put into perspective for me. If you start with a lower quality bait, typically you will get bit less. This causes you to think "Man, swimbaiting SUCKS!!" which in turn causes you to throw the baits with less confidence. We all know what consequences that will have. Bottom line, why waste $10 on a lure you "might" like when you can spend just a bit more and get one that is truly effective whether you live up north or not. Like people have said, get out of the "I have smaller fish, so I need a smaller lure" mentality. I have, and it feels kinda nice crossing over
