Amen! Excellent post. I hear a lot of anglers mention income, but I had four very nice combos at 15yrs old that I saved up and purchased mowing lawns. My last partner drove a Range Rover and had new Ranger 521, but didn't see the value or reasoning for expensive rods or reels and used bps extreme combos. I'm the same way...I have $800 rod combos, but buy my cargo shorts at walmart for $10 because I don't see the value in the Lucky brand Cargo shorts or Abercrombie cargo shorts. There is no right answer... only opinions. it's like asking if a certain food tastes good. There is your point right there. Nice and big for all to read. Fish with what you have and are able to afford.

BEER AND WINGS!!!!!!!!!! I have just recently started to have a few beers on occasion. Since college, I have grown out of just drinking to drink. Now, I enjoy having one here and there just to sample different varieties. Right now in my fridge, I am enjoying a Samuel Adams summer sampler. Hefeweizen, Cherry Wheat, Lager, Light, Summer Ale and Pale Ale. Havent had a bad one yet. I will be eating massive amounts of food tomorrow during the PSU game!!!!!!!!!

Why would you want to do that? If anything, I would recommend pushing the treble against the body of the bait and cutting off the third hook that hangs down. Personally, I want as many hooks as possible hanging off there....

Looks cool. I like to flip/pitch w/ braid. This would probably give the lure a faster fall rate than the stuff I am currently using. Should give deep divers a little more depth too. Nice find, I had never seen it either. Wayne

With all due respect, I highly doubt that. When I saw all the investigators on Vick's property I was shocked. Cracking down on dog fighting is the best allocation of resources the FBI can come up with? Who cares? There are bigger fish to fry than dog fighting, somebody just wanted some time in the spotlight. And for the record, I didn't like Vick prior to this incident. Which part do you doubt? I dont know too many people who have jobs that their current employer would welcome them back with open arms if convicted of a federal offense. no no no, im not that crazy the big ones are like 200 i got the baby wake which is only 45 bucks Man even I would have a tough time forking out for that around here. But we also don't get monster bass in our region. Living next to Erie, the only LMB that are around are in the local ponds and state owned ponds/small lakes. Smallmouths are definately king around these parts. BUT.........if I knew there were some monster bass in my waters than I probably could shell out 45 bucks for a lure. Man and I thought I was paying a lot for an Xrap lol. Erie? You may be surprised at what one of those smallmouths will eat. I would bet every bit of that $45 you could catch some Erie smallies on one of those baits You are in one of the best big brown bass areas in the country (world, probably), you may be surprised what you will catch.

I will DEFINITELY be watching. I have no interest at all in either of those teams, but I dont really care.....ITS FOOTBALL SEASON BABY!!!!!!!!!!
