  1. That's an AWESOME fish.
  2. Thanks fellas. Looking forward to putting together a bigger bite soon! That's my 4th fish over 7lbs in PA this year after catching one in each of the last two years. Puzzle pieces slowly falling in place....
  3. LOL, that negotiator would be tough to swallow losing. Ouch.
  4. I casted off a $60 bait in the river the other day and I've hung quite a few hudds while fishing from the bank. Can't say I've ever lost an expensive one from the boat.
  5. I fish 20lb 100% Trilene fluoro on a 301 Curado with my sinking swimbaits without any problems.
  6. Got nothing for ya then. I typically treat a spool when I get it, spray when I change line and then the night before I go fishing.
  7. LOL, at this point of the year, what's a jig?
  8. I have LTBs for throwing my regular bass gear and I LOVE them. I can only imagine that the Extremes would be downright ridiculous.
  9. How soon before you went fishing did you treat your line?
  10. Depends on what I am fishing. For the most part, jigs get the silent treatment. Swimbaits, you don't really have much of a choice. 5oz of plastic or wood is gonna make a splash whether you want it to or not.
  11. LOL, crushed it on a slow creep back to the boat. I was talking to my buddy and just turned around in time to see it.
  12. Ajay is the guy right below and for what worked, we'll just say it's almost a called shot. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/118320-in-pursuit-of-giant-bass-one-mans-journey/page-12
  13. New PB last night. Scale bounced around but since money isn't on the line, I'm calling it at 7.56 or 7lb 9oz. Get some!
  14. Heading out today with the big stuff. Watched Big Bait Posse this morning and read through this thread again for inspiration. I predict jambalaya. LOL, aim low!!
  15. If anyone knows Rocky Gap and needs a partner to split Tourney fees, let me know. I'll do my best to make it happen.
  16. Can't catch fish that aren't there. With that water temp, there is a reason you are catching fish up shallow. They should be on the first drop or up spawning at that temp. My guess is you are fishing where you "think" fish should be instead of where they actually are.
  17. I think someone should make a chart showing who has posted the most questions. I got money on a horse!
  18. River condition currently?
  19. Anyone ever contact you about Gander?
  20. I'd have to say that if you are questioning the water quality, you are probably right to be concerned about eating fish from it. You know they sell fish at the store, right? Just playin'
  21. Just to be clear, we are launching from somewhere in CCW-friendly Virginia and not the People's Republic of Maryland, correct? LOL
  22. I can fish two people comfortably. Three is a big stretch and quite dangerous with the length of the swimbait rods and the size of hooks on some of those things We'll get something figured out even if it's just a short tutorial/Q&A.
  23. You can see the concrete slab piles in the upper end of the lake when the wind isn't blowing. I've marked them down through the lake in the deeper water, but obviously can't see them with your eyes.
  24. I may disagree overall with the first part I don't doubt the second part though. Used camp up that way growing up and met a bunch of really cool guys.
