  1. I fish both as well. Guess I'm a fence sitter. I even have a 300HL Lexa on one of my big bait rods. LOL Never tried the Pinnacle reels, but the rods I have handled have been well crafted and were very sensitive especially at their price point.
  2. Return of the Jedi shirt? What are you, six? LOL
  3. Zoom Magnum shakey, Green Pump w/ tail dipped in red or chartreuse JJ's
  4. You're exactly right. That's what I mean! LOL
  5. I like the original. Been using it for a LONG time.
  6. A fluke is about the best skipping bait I have ever used. If they are up shallow in overhanging vegetation or trees, I'll have a fluke tied on.
  7. Got a T there next Saturday, 3/23 PM me your phone number and I'll text you if I find anything worth relaying.
  8. Come fish a T in PA some time. LOL Remember the Classic in Pittsburgh a while back?
  9. Keeper: jig or a fluke in shallow wood. Money. Kicker: jig on deeper brush piles or the swimbait. Go big or go home.
  10. What's the one between the slammers and Bullshads? Also, the chartreuse one in the lower right below the Matts BG bait?
  11. Just wondering if there is still ice anywhere on the lake and if anyone has a water temp other than "cold" LOL.
  12. I'm with Francho on the trophy designation but I won't be happy until I stick a DD in Pennsylvania. Watch.

    Suppressed? Fun!
  14. I'm down brother. Always wanted to fish Texas.
  15. I fish lakes that range from 60 to 8600 acres that receive ZERO fingerling stockings. Still no effect fishing/catching spawning bass. Even if you are fishing the first dropoff, I guarantee you are still catching spawning fish that you can't see (depending on water temp of course). I know it's not on your side but there is another response. LOL
  16. Of all the bedding bass you see, TRUST ME there are even more and bigger fish that never have a boat hovering over them.
  17. When I throw an A-rig, it's with a custom 8' Loomis BB rod (Thanks Ronnie!) and a Revo STX with 65lb braid.
  18. Only if you are well hydrated. I like when my medications turn it the neon color of Mt. Dew. I basically can't go fishing because who wouldn't love a Mt. Dew fountain?
  19. My jig rod is 6'8", all other "regular" bass rods are 7' Swimbait rods are 8' (3 of them) and 8'6" (only one).
  20. Get him to put on the "white suit" and then tell him he doesn't look enough like the sky. Produce some blue spray paint and offer to "camo him up a bit" as you heard that this can directly lead to putting more fish in the boat. Insist that it is in his best interest and then take pics, explaining to him that he is an innovator and you want to show others how well they can catch fish. Wow, what a slow day at work....
  21. I'd just fish it with a jig.
  22. The waters around you in MD, WV and PA should be generally free of ice at this point. The fish will be eating more very soon.
  23. Where are you located? Went fishing yesterday right after the snow storm and managed to catch one on a Pointer. I'm also fishing a tournament the same weekend as jhoffman. Mine is on the 23rd.
  24. I'll bite my tongue as this is a family forum. LMAO
  25. Some guy told me they worked so I figured I would give it a shot. LOL
