  1. Most definitely beds. That fish on the right in the last pic would be your female.
  2. Glad you got to catch one, regardless of the weight. Congrats.
  3. I've seen this livewell. He has more than three fish.
  4. I like the Rage line for a more active presentation. The bait I use most is the Flappin Hog though.
  5. Or.... I would like him to invite me to fish those Florida sulphur pits with him. I can wear headphones and listen to music. LOL
  6. LOL, I think the cold is getting to you...
  7. The big fish you see caught in the southern states tend to be longer, thicker through the body. Randall Kirkpatrick's big fish are a good example of that body type. I know he has caught 30" fish. Cali fish appear to be more rounded and really gorged on food when they get big.
  8. I have a fishing buddy that keeps swearing to wear a Tennessee hat and throw a Dancing Eel all day long. I politely informed him to also bring his swim trunks if those two things were to occur.
  9. Yep, that's the G rated version of my NC-17 expression exactly J!
  10. http://bigbassdreams.com/standard/big-bass-dreams-turn-big-bass-reality/ Dedication, perseverance and skill. This dude's legit.
  11. LOL, how about you don't throw jerkbaits and I'll lay off the swimbaits.... Yeah, that's what I thought.
  12. Jig and a swimbait for pre, spawn and post.
  13. Caught 4 yesterday, three on a jerkbait and one on the Deps 175 Slide Swimmer. Water is still crazy cold here, just at 40 degrees.
  14. With as much as you post that link to Davey Hite winning with the Berkley Hollow Belly, I'm surprised you didn't fish that. What did you catch your fish on? Any idea what the big fish was caught on?
  15. Like Tom asked, need to know what you plan on throwing the baits with. Rod and reel most importantly. Line could also depend on what you want to throw.
  16. Oh, I'm ice-free currently. I believe by next weekend the water will finally be in the 40's. While I like the swimbait bite, I'm not opposed to throwing whatever is necessary for a big bite. I do like to wreck stuff with a jig rod too. LOL
  17. You're a freakin' wrecking machine with a jig rod Steve. Unreal.
  18. Brother Dwight, if you put 10 in the boat at Erie that weighed 81 and change......well, your wife may wonder who the big bearded fella is that's sleeping in the boat all summer. LOL
  19. If I'm out fun fishing and catching a bunch, I'll tend to share info with someone I feel might be less experienced or a guy/gal who is out fishing with his/her kids. If I'm on a big bite, that's when the BS answers come out. Honestly, I dont have to worry about too many PA guys burning my swimbait bite.
  20. I'll play. 11-3 for PA, let's do this!
  21. Doesnt matter if it's approved trout water in that part of the state. Montgomery County's first day of trout is this Saturday, 3/30.
  22. Luckily, only ever caught a hook deep when I was fly fishing. Those little hooks are easy to pop out. Watched a buddy bury a 4/0 gammy EWG into the joint of his thumb. To this day, I can remember the sickening sound of it popping back out and how he immediately turned whiter than any person I have ever seen. LOL
  23. No smallmouth in Erie. Move along, nothing to see here.....LOL
  24. Please elaborate on this rule... 3 A rigs linked together with 5 single hooked baits is acceptable? Sounds like a challenge!
  25. Can't stop thinking about it.....Must....do....work....
