  1. Got a link to that show? Are you setting up there and will you have maps?
  2. Just rub some dirt on it. ;D
  3. I can add no baits to the discussion, as my favorites have already been mentioned. I would like to say that Fourbizz is a closet paddletail thrower. ;D
  4. Ahhh, Steez, often imitated but never duplicated ! Com'on where are the bashers, its a 5.4 oz lightweight reel that costs a boat load of $$$. Heaven forbid someone enjoy a little pleasure while fishing with something nice. 8-) 8-) 8-) Nah, that's all reserved for you.
  5. I think your math is a little off. Starts on 2/25. As I post this, the date is 2/14. You still have plenty of time.
  6. For those who have never been there, the lake is amazing. Bring your cameras. Sun up or sun down, always great scenery.
  7. How do you find your spots? Map reading, experience, etc? The reason I ask is....well, look at the fish you have caught. I have a hard time believing you are "lucky" and stumble upon the fish you catch. There is something you see beforehand or while on the water that cues you to the likely presence of big fish. What is it and how can the rest of us utilize it?
  8. Thanks Matt for your email earlier today. And thank you for your fantastic customer support. Told ya. j/k ;D
  9. Same to me. SFT was there as always. They were about the only ones with some decent tackle for sale. The Copenhagen girls were fun to look at. ;D
  10. Bait came today. Thanks man. Shirt looks real good too.
  11. No shite? That's cool. You can burn the heck out of the FS.
  12. Pretty sure the "sinker" you see on TW is the slow sink. AFAIK, the fast sink was only available on his site. Send Matt a message on his website. He is really good about getting back to people and the customer service is top notch.

Pistola or scattergun? Why? Keep in mind, everyday citizen w/ minimal training.

For defense I would and do choose a pistol. A shotgun looks good but is way to cumbersome and unwieldy to use for defense. It's perfect for home defense though. Biggest plus, IMO, is that if you miss and your shot enters a wall the person sleeping on the other side of that wall is alot more likely to walk away.A shotgun blast at self-defense range is also MUCH more powerful than a single projectile as well. With multiple projectiles spreading out in a pattern, you are also more likely to hit your target in a stressful situation. Many (if not most) may not be able to control a pistol in that situation. Make sure you are using the right load for home defense, bubba. As for lots of little projectiles flying around, I guess you need to decide what you want to do...stop the threat or tick them off so they leave. Bottom line, people need to decide what they want to do and what is best for their home defense and then research appropriate ammo and become proficient with the firearm, including but not limited to an attack/defense plan, weapon proficiency, stress shooting, tactical movements, and escape planning. What is your recommedation?

Yeah, what happens if you miss with that one shot? Don't miss then. You could use it as a club maybe...
  17. Not a fan. I liked the Chocolate Bock in the Winter Sampler.
  18. Dave Saavedra Likes Uncorrected Blocks? :-? Yeah, no clue.
  19. Big man, when are we going to see the 1/2 oz Cavitron?
  20. I wasn't impressed. The only thing I bought all day was a $3 bottle of Diet Pepsi and a framed butterfly for the wife. Nice excuse to get out of the house, but I dont know about a 3 hr drive to get there. One positive note from Saturday. When you take the shuttle from BPS to the show, they give you a coupon for 20% off one item. That could be worth it if you play your cards right.
  21. Me too.
  22. You will love the Costas. PM sent.
  23. LOL, I am able to display a modicum of humility. Occasionally. ;D
