Check spelling feature on this site works plus a dictionary. Don't be too lazy to use either. Oh, did not even notice there was a check spelling feature on here ;D. Should of noticed that sooner. Yes, you should HAVE. Spell check does not pick the correct word for you if the wrong word is spelled correctly. I'm not picking on you specifically but if you post on a thread that has grammar and spelling as central topics, then you should be prepared to proofread your posts.

I have an older BPS reel that is missing the spool tension knob. That thing will launch a crankbait a MILE. You have two spool tension knobs attached to you. They are called "thumbs." Learn to use them and you'll be all set.

STX or the Curado would be fine for those, as would a number of other reels mentioned. RW hit it on the head. Pick someone that you trust and/or respect and use what they use. Like DVT said, you can't really go wrong in the price range you are looking at. IMO, nobody makes "crap" reels in that price range.

Here's a question: How the hell do you come up with that as being the color that's going to win the money? That is a pretty "out there" combo as far as bass fishing goes. Just curious as to what led you to that choice.

If you get lucky, you are fishing on a golf course fairway and the boat operator will drop you off to use the very comfortable facilities. Thank you flooded Kentucky Lake!! True story, last year. Was not looking forward to taking a crap in front of Jimzee and PitchinKid. We were fishing a flooded golf course and happened to notice this block building. I took my chances and bolted up the hill. I was pleasantly surprised to find a toilet with running water and toilet paper. Spent the whole time dodging wasps, but it was better than getting my arse out in front of a rattlesnake in the woods. ;D

My sister-in-law lives out there and that's what she says too. I figured with all the rain you guys get and how far north you are located that snow would be pretty commonplace out there.
