  13. I was a member for many years. They have a decent all-species magazine. Since I've been a member of BassResource.com I've let my membership lapse, I feel I get more information pertinent to the type fishing I like right here. There is a wealth of knowlege here on this site, and a friendlier bunch of guys than on their site. As far as the "field test" aspect, the products they advertise for field testing (rods, reels, trolling motors, coats, etc.) I've never seen anything like that. In seven years, the most expensive thing I tested was a $2.95 lure that broke. BassResource.com is my source of information, Falcon
  14. I think you get a high passing grade. You have a good base of tackle to add to as your confidence grows in certain techniques. Now have fun, Falcon
  15. It sounds like you just had your Bait Monkey initiation.LOL Tell us what you got. Falcon
  16. My family has nothing but Labs. Ducks, quail, and pheasants. They do it all, and great family pets. Very intelligent and gentle dogs. Falcon
  17. I feel your pain. Litterally. I've had six spine surgeries, three cervical and three lumbar. I have enough titanium in my spine to build a bridge. I was in an auto accident in 1996 and they had to do the procedures seperately. Some anterior and some posterior. Thanks to my doctor I'm able to walk. Due to permanent nerve damage I have to take alot of strong pain medication. Thankfully I'm able to fish, but not as much as I'd like. I hope your problem isn't going to put you out of commission too long. Good luck Falcon

  22. I'm going to the BPS Classic this weekend, one of the things on my list is Indiana blades to try on a couple of my spinnerbaits. On my "things-to-do" list for this season is experiment more with spinnerbaits. Falcon
  23. I use both with good success, but I seem to catch more on the X-Rap. I think the X-Rap is a little more versatile. Falcon
  24. I'm with you. I use Trilene XL on all my reels. I've never had any problems detecting a strike. I've tried other lines, but I always find myself going back to my mono. Falcon
  25. Hi Ben, You might want to check with Whittler. He does beautiful work. I can't remember the name of his site, but you could pm him. Falcon
