  2. I re-tie often, and I'm constantly checking my line for nicks. When I re-tie, I always moisten the knot before i cinch it down. Falcon
  3. Any bass i've caught with crawdads in them were tail first. Falcon
  4. When I got up this morning it was 3 degrees and now it's 15. Atleast the sun is out. Is it spring yet? Falcon

JOHAN & MAKHULUBASS, Welcome, you came to the right place if you have questions. There are alot of very knowlegeable fishermen here willing to help. Falcon
  6. When I fished tournaments I hated when my co-angler didn't bring a lunch or drinks, and then wanted to share mine. Another thing, don't bring too many rods and tackle boxes. With gas prices the way they are, offer to share the cost. Just my opinion, Falcon
  7. I have a fishing towel that I always have hooked to my belt loop. Falcon
  8. Welcome back, nobody can stay away from this place for too long. Falcon
  9. Happy Birthday Muddy!! Falcon
  10. Sign me up. I use Abu Garcia exclusively. I have a 24 year old C3 that works like new, 2 C4's, A C5 mag-x, a D5, and a Record RCN40. I have big hands, so I like the round reels better. I may have to look at the Revo and add a low profile to my arsenal. Falcon
  11. Welcome ProFisherGuy, you have come to the right place to gain knowlege. Falcon
  12. I don't have much success with cold fronts, but when I do get fish, it's usually with live shiners on a split shot rig. Falcon
  13. When I woke up this morning it was -3. I just checked the Weather Channel, and for Chesterfield Twp. Michigan it is a balmy 10 degrees at 4:55 P.M. IS IT SPRING YET? Falcon
  14. I like the Excalibur TX3's, I've had good luck with them. Falcon
  15. Hey 6.5 pounder, welcome to the best bass fishing site on the net. If you like bass fishing, this is the place to be. Falcon
  16. 6lb-15oz smallmouth, caught on a large shiner. FALCON
  17. I spoke to the guy that does the purchasing at the Gander Mountain near my house, and he told me the Guide Series rods are in fact made by St. Croix. Falcon
  18. Welcome to the best fishing site on the planet. Falcon

Hey tube, Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  21. Zack, CJBasswacker said exactly what I was going to tell you. I can't stress enough, how important a college education is. A degree in business or marketing would help, or fisheries management. It's good to have a goal to become a professional fisherman, but do yourself a favor and get your education first. Good luck, Falcon
  22. I made a vetical display rack three years ago. It fits in the corner, and doesn't take up much space. Falcon
  23. I have a 7' med. Crankin Stick and I'm very pleased with it. You can't beat it for the price. Falcon
  24. jb_adams, I use the SR07 and the original X-RAP and have great success. The St. Clair smallies and largemouth love them. Keep throwing them I think you might change your mind. I fish the X-RAPS with a sweep and pause, they usually hit on the pause. Falcon
  25. You gotta hate it when you catch yourself and not the fish. Four years ago I caught a muskie, and before I could get the hook out he flopped and one of the trebles ended up in my hand...not very pleasant. How did your un-hooking go? Falcon
