  1. Nice fish!! Every now and then the Wipers make their way into Lake St. Clair. The only one I ever caught weighed about one pound. Last summer some guy was fishing for walleye and caught a twenty pounder. Needless to say, he was a celebrity for a while around here. He even got his picture in the news paper. Falcon
  2. Last December, before the water in my canal froze, I was casting my new Pointer 100 to see what the action was like. Much to my surprize I caught a 7" perch. They are fearless. Falcon
  3. You're right Al, it was the "Color-C-Lector"............ I had a ton of those baits. I wonder what I did with them????????????? Falcon
  4. Gamakatsu or VMC. Falcon
  5. Welcome, This is a great place to learn. Falcon
  6. Welcome Skwerl.fish, You've come to the right place to learn. There are alot of good fishermen here willing to share their knowlege. Falcon
  7. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  8. So far this spring, I've been getting them on shallow Shad Raps, Rattlin Raps in 05 size, and X-Raps in 08 size. The water temps have been in the 54-62 degree range. The Shad Raps have been the most productive. Falcon
  9. I'll be the third vote for the BPS split ring pliers. I got mine two years ago and it's now a cinch to change the trebles. Good luck Falcon
  10. All my succes has been with the 8 & 10 sizes, I've never even thought about the saltwater series. Maybe I should broaden my horizons. Let us know how you do. Good luck Falcon

  14. Great job Russ, I'm putting the boat in this week, hopefully I'll have a picture or two for the next video. You always have the best music to go with the video. Thanks for sharing, Falcon

I think he is a monumentally talented fisherman, but he is still an obnoxious buffoon. Falcon
  16. VERY NICE RIDE!!! I'm trying to convince my wife to get an H2 when her lease is up. She doesn't know if she want's to drive something THAT BIG. I'm afraid there is going to be another boring Impala in my driveway. Falcon
  17. Welcome, You've come to the best place to learn about bass fishing. Enjoy, Falcon
  18. I saw that video a while back, but it's still hilarious. Thanks for posting it. Falcon
  19. I agree with Avid. Plus, here in Michigan it is illegal to transplant fish. It would be a good idea to check with your DNR. Good Luck, Falcon
  20. That's fantastic. Sounds like you are doing a good job. Days like that are very special. Falcon
  21. Welcome Cutie, You came to the right place to learn. After you read the articles, ask alot of questions. Remember, the only "stupid question" is the one you didn't ask. Have fun, Falcon
  22. Robert, If you enjoy catching Peacock Bass you'll love catching Muskies. My biggest was 49 3/4", I didn't have a scale at the time, but I estimated the weight at thirty plus. They are a hoot. Falcon
  23. Welcome Hibachi, You've come to the right place to to cure your problems. Like Muddy said, keep asking questions. I can't think of a better place to get the correct answer. Falcon
  24. Welcome wballard77, Lake St. Clair is a fairly shallow lake (average about 10') but the only place that I stay away from is the northern part of Anchor Bay. If you launch at any of the Public Access sites on Anchor Bay you won't have any trouble. Sometimes the ramp at Branderbberg Park has a problem about 30-40 yards out, there is a sandbar. If you have any questions P.M. me. I've lived on the lake for many years. Falcon
  25. Welcome Ozarkie, Very good post. I could write a book about all the clowns I've seen at the boat ramps. Falcon
