  3. Thanks for the warning Frog. Fortunately, I quit drinking about twelve years ago. I knew there was a good reason to quit.LOL Falcon
  4. The guy has been a dirt bag ever since he took office. He got caught with his hand in the cookie jar MANY times, and always found a way out.....................not this time. He lied under oath, roughed up two Deputies that were serving subpoenas, and a few other things that slip my mind right now. Suffice it to say he got off easy with 120 days in jail. Falcon
  5. I'm like Al, I use baitcasters for everything. I haven't used a spinning rig in three years. Falcon
  6. So sorry to hear of your loss Muddy. You and your friend will be in my prayers. God Bless, Falcon
  7. Sorry to hear of your bad news. Unfortunately, you may as well grab your ankles and take it. At least you have a salary that is probably better than unemployment, and more than likely you have benefits that you won't have if you quit. My advise is, stay where you are and look for better employment, while still collecting a check. My wife is a Human Resource Systems Specialist for the largest ad agency in Michigan. She suggests you continue to work, because quitting doesn't look good on a resume, according to the recruiters in her office. Good luck, Falcon
  8. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Unfortunately, it's all too common. As J_Zink said, usually when the thieves strike, they take all the high-dollar items, like electronics, props, and small motors. (I've had it happen, I lost my kicker motor to a thief three years ago) Anybody that steals from a child is a complete piece of crap. Now your real problems start.............dealing with the insurance company. (they're almost as bad as the thieves) Good luck, Falcon
  9. Great post Sam. Very good advice. Falcon
  10. I use a 7' medium graphite rod for my crankbaits. I tried alot of different fiberglass rods, and I just didn't like the feel. Falcon
  11. Good Luck Ryan!!! It's just another day on the boat...........you know what to do. Falcon
  12. 1-Shallow crankbaits 2-Spinnerbaits 3-Lipless crankbaits 4-Buzzbaits Falcon
  13. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  14. I've been using a Crankin Stick for three years, and I'm very happy with it. J_Zink is right. Wait until they go on sale. Falcon
  15. I have had VERY GOOD success with the Rattle Head Baits spinnerbaits. They are made from quality components, and I believe the unique sound of the rattle chamber put quite a few more fish in my livewell. Dow and Bekki are always available to answer any questions and listen to any suggestions. Falcon

  17. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. What part of Italy are you from? My family is from Malta. Falcon
  18. On one of Kim Stricker's shows (Hook n Look) he caught a spawning smallmouth, then he drove the boat for a couple miles and released the fish. Within about twenty minutes the fish was back on the nest. It was all documented on film. I've also done the same thing as you, here on St. Clair. I think they will be fine. Falcon
  19. It's been fairly slow for me here on St. Clair, however, our nights have been quite cool for the last week or so. I'm thinking things should pick-up for this weekend, our water temps dropped from 78* to 72* this week. Our fall bite may start a little early this year. Falcon
  20. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  21. I'd like to try that perch on some St. Clair Muskies. Falcon
  22. The Maise and Blue are always displayed at the MALTESE FALCON corner of Lake St. Clair. GO BLUE!!!! Falcon
  23. I like the one you have now, for the same reasons as RoseAngler. Falcon
  24. Welcome home. Enjoy your time with family and friends. Hopefully you'll be able to catch a few fish. BTW, thanks for your service to this great country. Falcon
  25. I used to use Yellow Perch for Pike bait. It worked great, I've never tried Bluegil. BTW, it's legal here in Michigan. Falcon
