  1. Go get yourself some Rapala Shad Raps in all variations, shallow, deep, suspending, and jointed, and you will more than likely catch fish. Falcon
  2. Yup, It's Glass Ghost. Falcon
  3. Thanks Muddy, I thought they might be there. Falcon
  4. Hey Muddy, where can I get those Ukulele Minnows? Any special color I should try?LOL Oh BTW, That's always been one of my favorite songs. Falcon
  5. Two years ago, when I caught my 9.8# PB walleye, I was so excited and concerned with getting her back in the water healthy, I forgot to take the picture. As has been said, I still have the memory. Falcon
  6. My boat never leaves the seawall without at least eight rods and reels, each with something different tied to it. I always bring all my tackle bags just in case. I would hate to get out on the lake and find out that what ever bait they are hitting is sitting at home in the utility room. My wife never says anything about how much tackle I have, because she knows I'll remind her of her fetish for purses, shoes, and watches. It wouldn't matter anyhow, because forty years ago I married a saint. It was her idea to buy the house on the water, and to buy the new boat..........Like I said, she's a saint. Falcon
  7. It's not hard to replace blades, and they are inexpensive, I would just replace them. Oh, by the way, welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  8. There is a DNR office right on the lake, about one mile from one of my favorite smallmouth hang-outs. Believe it or not, I haven't been checked since 1997. I see their trucks all the time around the house, but I never see them on the water. Falcon
  9. 6lb-15oz Lake St. Clair (mouth of the Clinton River). I had one two years ago that probably would have beat her by a pound, but due to my being stupid, it's just another fish story. Falcon
  10. If the smallies will hit the 5" Strike King "King Shad", They will have no problem hitting a four inch tube. Falcon
  11. I was always a Rattlin Rapala fan. Over the winter I got a deal on a Royal Shad XR50. All I can say is WOW!!!! That bait outfished my Rapalas 15-1. I've since picked up a couple more colors. You got them for a great price also. Falcon
  12. I use 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG's on 5", and 2/0 on 4". Falcon
  13. I've never used a Carrot Stick, however I have used my St. Croix rods extensively, and I think they are the best. Falcon
  14. All fish listed below came from Lake St. Clair or the St. Clair River. Smallmouth = 22.5" Largemouth = 21" Walleye = 30" Perch = 15" Pike = 42" Muskie = 49.75" Chinook Salmon = 34" Rainbow Trout = 23" Crappie = 15.5" Channel Cat = 31" I've only caught one fish in salt water, and that was a 14.5" Speckled Trout, off the pier in Myrtle Beach. Falcon
  15. That's a great start Russ. I wish everybody would heed that one. Falcon
  16. Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  17. Don't waste your money. My buddy got some, and what a joke. Falcon
  18. I say you caught it twice. You still had to find her, present the bait, and get her to take it. Falcon
  19. Nice article J.T. Very informative. Falcon
  20. Hey Dave, Apparently you haven't fished the X-Rap Shad, because they have already proven themselves to me, so the X-Rap Shad Shallow is not a gimmick lure. I've also said for years, I wish I could get a walk-the-dog bait that would do more than just side-to-side action, now there's the Glidin Rap. I'm only disappointed in Rapala because I can feel my wallet getting lighter as we speak. Falcon
  21. *** 7" Ripper Worm in Red Shad. I like the bulkier profile, plus they last forever. Falcon
  22. Shark Week is the best. Falcon
  23. I'm one of those people that has to wear a watch. I feel naked without my TAG. Hey Matt, I thought I was the only person that carried two pocket knives. Falcon
