I have fished the stickmarsh for 15 years with several 100 fish days, usual is 30ish, knowing darn well that there are 100's of fish per acre on this water I have still gotten on this lake and caught 1 or 2 after fishing every known area. Sometimes Ya just cannot make em eat.

I have 8 old Curado's "CU-200", washers are in good shape but need a greaseing trying to avoid replacing all them.

Anyone use anything other than "Drag grease" for there washers?

While the death rate for fish caught and immediately released by sport anglers is between 1 and 2 percent, biologists say the death rate in tournaments -- in which fish are caught, held for hours in live wells and handled before release -- is 26 to 28 percent in the following days. Not to mention the disruption of spawning cycles where bedding fish are removed from nesting only to abort the eggs or leave a nest abandoned. For these reasons I prefer the MLF format, However I still fish some local tournaments.

Affects water clarity, bait movement, current, oxygen levels, all things that will effect their pattern.
